Confirmed - Bioshock on PS3!

The only time you've made a post this month that wasn't worthless was in the Uncharted forum, where you asked about whether or not there was a collectors version? Am I incorrect in assuming you sold you PS3 cuz of the lack of games months ago?

2K Mod: There will be no Bioshock for PS3.

Responding to the new round of rumors last week that BioShock is coming to PS3 in 2008, a 2K Games forum moderator has this to say:
There will be no PS3 version of BioShock.

It has been explained time, and time again.

M$ really needs Bioshock to help pad up their holiday release lineup, so I doubt they'd be exactly thrilled if 2K went out and told people "Save your money, it's coming to PS3 next year." That's why they almost definitely would have written something about it into the paperwork.

In all likeliness, the forum mod knows nothing more than what his bosses tell him, and for security reasons, he's probably been told the PS3 version of Bioshock doesn't exist.

You made yourself sound really dumb there. 2K mods know more than you think, they don't just run the forums.

Bioshock is just a piece of the padding. Guitar Hero 3, Rock Band, Mass Effect, Scene It? (I know, not that big, but it's good for families), Call of Duty 4.

Guitar Hero 3 and Rock Band are handily on PS3 as well. Scene it is not gonna move hardware. Bioshock is an important part of MS's exclusive '07 lineup, so don't downplay it. I thought Microsoft apologists were always saying it's a great game?

And if the mod knows something, then he obviously knows the ramifications he'd face for saying anything other than "to play Bioshock, you'll need an Xbox 360 or a PC with a Microsoft Windows(TM) operating system." Remember the mods who used to try to shut people up about the 360 version of Assassin's Creed a few years back?

Microsoft isn't the one with apologists - that requires things like widespread persecution, like say the kind that would emerge from a really high price, or a slew of uninspired software.

I just think it's funny that when a 2K employee says something about the exclusivity of their game, it comes under fire and Microsoft "paid them for it" or some such other nonsense. But if an employee of a company making a ps3 exclusive, like say MGS4 for instance, says the same things, it's gospel.

Microsoft has a sh**ty exclusive holiday lineup with "mediocre" games like Bioshock, Halo 3 and Mass Effect, two of which have already bombed and the third one looks to do the same.

PS3? Uncharted man! Uncharted!!
