The Dark Knight Confusion over time span between BB and TDK? Your thoughts please....

Jim Gordan, Tom Gordon, Gorton now.. how many of 'em are out there!?

It's the soap opera kid syndrome. Cradle to adulterer in under a year.

on one of the online GCN videos with Mike Engel...one of the newscasters said that it had been 9 months since Bruce Wayne's mansion had burned down...

so there it is, around 9 months

Commissioner James GorDOn (dunno why some people spell it "Gordan", "Gorton", or "Gorden") has a boy in The Long Halloween thus in Dark Victory too, and I remember someone saying in Frank Miller's Batniverse there's a baby James too.

That pretty much answers that then - thanks. It pays to have a good memory, I`d forgotten that line from the end of BB.

It's actually not from Batman Begins, it's in the Dark Knight in the beginning when Batman is in the vault with Gordon after Joker robs it.

To me that's the obvious reason though, because if that logic works for Batman at that point, it would clearly prevail earlier (when the mob was stronger and Joker was less known).
