Am I the only person who always wanted a sequel to Red Dawn? The epilogue mentions that the Wolverines' guerrillian war is the "early days of World World III." I always though a sequel focusing on Danny and Erica fighting in World War III would be awesome.

Granted, now-a-days it would just feel awkward being as the cold war mentality is gone. But only if it were made in the 80s :csad:

At the time...they could have made several sequels. One about Danny and Erica....and others about other aspects of the war.

I guess they could make a sequel now about some of the other places the war was going on with different characters....but some may find that confusing.

I want to know why the history network is running Red Dawn now.........

No, Red Dawn while awesome was anti-soviet propaganda intended to make us sympathize with the Afghan's who were being invaded by Russia around that time. Red Dawn just isn't the same without pinkos to hate.
