Could they do Mantra without it coming off comedic?

Remember that old Ultraverse comic about the male warrior that suddenly finds himself imprisoned in the body of a woman? The whole thing comes off ridiculous, but they did attempt some dramatic stories with depth on occasion. Could they bring that life?

And yes, these above shots featuring the title character....it's a guy.

As the only person on earth who bought every comic published by Ultraverse, I always thought Mantra was their worst ongoing.

The idea itself is silly, so youd have to have comedic elements to a movie.

I wouldnt want a film. I would rather see Prime, or Nightman (I believe his series was briefly very highly rated) or Firearm or...heck...any of the other titles.
