Create a Supervillain team!

Taskmaster
Deadpool
Mystique
Bullseye
Sabertooth

I don't care wht you say about anyone on that team "Reforming" they will always have heavy villain leanings, and what organization would want to hire that team of assassins?

...when did Bullseye reform? Or Sabretooth for that matter?

Bullsey is with the Thunderbolts
Sabertooth is currently working for the X-Men.

Oic...but aren't the Thunderbolts working under supervision or something?

And when did Sabretooth join the X-Men?! Sorry, I haven't been reading modern comics much...only got into em after I read Civil War.

Thunderbolts are the Colorodo state team and are still being used to hunt down all the rogue super-humans. I don't care. Bullseye is a stone-cold killer. you don't reform a soul like his.

Sabertooth joined in the latest version of X-Men... the version where Rogue uses Sunfire's powers, not Ms. Marvel's.

Hasn't it been made pretty clear in the pages of Thunderbolts that the new members like Bullseye, Venorpion, et al. haven't reformed at all? I thought they were just biding their time and making the most of their job, since their job is now to capture heroes, which they would have done anyway.

...

How the hell are he and Wolverine working on the same team? Or is he not?

But he's on the New Avengers, Astonishing X-Men and soon to be a member of X Force? What the hell is Marvel thinking??? I'm usually not opposed to seeing Wolverine so much but the guy is virtually EVERYWHERE sometimes with freaking pointless cameos (RE: Echo's Spirit journey. WTF???).

They have to stick him to one or two teams at most. Even Batman dedicates himself to the Bat family first the the Justice League. When he gets all emo he forms another bunch of Outsiders and leaves the JLA for about 4 months but then he comes back because of lagging JL sales....

Supposedly, he's quitting the X-Men to hang with X-Force. So, it's still only two team books hell be a part of.

I hope Batman's connection to the Outsiders is down played a lot in that book. I really do hate seeing him a team. :(

Why should it be played down? He found the team. It was a good team in its prime under Mike Barr's writing. The current lineup is questionable (I still thik Grace is just a Winick fantasy) but it could work out.

Sabertooth is no longer a member of the X-men so thats not really an issue.
He took off after the whole mumadrai thing where Cable's island got all messed up, then he was killed a couple weeks or so later by wolverine in Wolverine's own title.

For now at least Sabertooth is still dead.

Also Bullseye is permanently paralysed after the whole American Eagle encounter and Taskmaster is apparently going to be taking up a training job with the Initiative.

Basically right now the only people on that team who might work are Deadpool and Mystique, both of whom are fairly busy (deadpool in his own title and Mystique doing her Marauders thing in X-men).

Dr. Doom is too megalomaniacal to work with anyone else; or at the very least, too untrustworthy. Just ask Magneto. Here's my list:
1) Loki
2) Ultron
3) Venom
4) The Absorbing Man
or:
1) The Red Skull
2) Abomination
3) Blastaar
4) Bi-Beast

Ultron would never work with an organic and venom is not a team player either. Blastaar would never except anyone but himself as leader especially someone as weak as the Red Skull. Blastaar would kill him the instant he first tried to give an order.

Blastaar seems to be working pretty well under Ronan's leadership in Annihilation: Conquest.

I haven't seen it but that would be contrary to Blastaar's every appearance so far. He has arrogance and a lust for power that exceeds even Doom.

I purposely didn't look through so as to not prejudice myself. I think some of them might be dead, but Marvel doesn't let that stop them, why should I?:

This team is all about making money. No world domination plans.

Taskmaster: This one is easy. He's the one to pull them together, train them, and get them to work as a team. Everybody gets basic combat training, with special sessions on utilizing powers to maximum benefit. Forbidden to go on missions.

Spot: I know, go ahead and groan, but he's my favorite lame villain. And he really shouldn't be. His role would be strictly reconnaissance (sp?) Oh, and he would have to lose that ridiculous costume and dress head to toe in black, or appropriate camoflage. And it would be mandatory that everyone makes fun of his codename. Every issue.

Electro Here's a guy that should really be able to do some damage. Not going toe-to-toe with bad guys. Create diversions. Muck up systems. He's the only one forbidden to make fun of the Spot. Because of his ridiculous mask.

MindWorm Crowd control. Here's a guy that's been living on the streets and can definately appreciate going from the ****house to the penthouse.

Quicksilver He's pretty much a bad guy now, right? Dude needs some cash for his mutant repopulating plans. Run in, grab the cash, and get out. That's it.

Grizzly
Ox
Rhino
I wanted a couple of strong guys that nobody cares about, and I like the fact that they all have animal names. Rhino is more powerful than I really want and he probably eats a lot, so I'll probably replace him with Kangaroo eventually.

I want three guys to be my lookouts and ground cover, so I'll take those three Vulture losers that were just in the latest Initiative. They might be comple losers, but I just need them to stay awake, and maybe learn how to fire a high-powered rifle.

Pulling it all together as team leader: Tombstone As long as he can forget his vendettas, and get on with the business of making some cash, a strong personality is all that's needed here.

I know a majority of these are spidey-guys, but I have a real fondness for Spidey villains.

Tombstone would not make a leader, he has less than average intelligence and is pathologically violent.

I don't want the strongest, or most powerful or smartest. I want Tombstone because he has a strong personality. If he smacks around some of his guys (or kilss one or two, especially Grizzly), all the better.

Quicksilvers not fast anymore. He's depowered (and then repowered with a whole different set of abilities that arent speed related)

and Tombstone would be a terrible leader given his poor intelligence and mindset and every single other member of that team could probably take him so the intimidation factor wouldnt work either.

Hmmm...

Between Criminal and Police, between Right and Wrong, between Good and Evil lurk... the Organization.

Taskmaster: organizer, bankroller, trainer, and to his chagrin, nanny. He's intelligent and experienced. Few have ever truely beaten him. He want's a team, but realizes that the most powerful and well known are too well watched, and/or too crazy to work with. So he decides to do some barrel scraping and see what he comes up with.

The Spot: Tasky's first recruit. a Man who could have been the greatest theif in the world, defeated because of his own idiocy. The Spot is now severely depressed paranoid.

Shocker: a brilliant inventer trapped with the drive of a thug. He joins Taskmaster's team, hoping to get some sort of insight into his own life.

Trapster: much like Shocker, Trapster gets in his own way far too much. He ironically joins the team to learn how to work on his own better. He has recently learned that his mind has been tampered with on several occasions, likely by his "friend" the Wizard.

Vulture: Feeling the old saying "I'm too old for this ****" sinking in way too quickly, he looks joins to stay in the game, even if he can't be on the scene.

Ox, Rhino, and Grizzly. Your general strong guys. Taskmaster has started them on a number of educational and critical thinking programs. slowly, but naturally, increasing their intellect. They have joined because Taskmaster has promised them one thing: Respect. That they would never again be "Just dumb muscle".

The Hood: Taskmaster views him as more of an apprentice than any of the other villains there. However, the Hood's unstable loyalties make him the one Wild Card of the group.

The plot of their team? Control. Their working out of Atlantic City, New Jersey. Far enough away from New York to avoid most of the problems citizens. At first, it would appear that they are cleaning up the city. Crime goes down dramatically, organized crime families are outed and convicted thanks to evidence donated to the police, They look like they're doing good... on the surface. That's because Taskmaster is using the intellects of Shultz, Ohn, Petruski, and Toombs combined to rob the city blind. Organizing hiests at the same time as a major event, in places where the owner would never admit it. All the while, the thugs they're putting out of buisness are finding new employment with the Organization.

Quicksilvers not fast anymore. He's depowered (and then repowered with a whole different set of abilities that arent speed related)

My retcon's gonna take care of that. And you guys do know that I'm not working for Marvel, and not held to any kind of continuity (not that many of them are either.......ba-dum-dum)

And how many times do I have to say that I don't care if Tombstone is as dumb as a stump? I picked him because I like him.

Kudos on making the Taskmaster's motivation simple greed, clones. Taskie's definitely not very high-minded, which is one of the things I love about him.
I haven't seen it but that would be contrary to Blastaar's every appearance so far. He has arrogance and a lust for power that exceeds even Doom.
He's also fighting against the Phalanx, who've literally dominated the entire Kree region of space and made it inescapable. I'm sure once their threat has been taken out of the picture, he'll go back to trying to carve out his own piece of the post-Annihilation cosmic landscape.

Actually, I tried to pick guys who would all be motivated by greed. No big grudge matches to get in the way. Treat it as a business and recruit the "skills" you need. Tombstone is a stretch in that regard, but I like him. Quicksilver too, but I needed a speedster and couldn't think of an available villain. Suggestions?

I think he shaved one day, and the hair grew a new Wolverine, so their are four of him now.
