Hmmm...
Between Criminal and Police, between Right and Wrong, between Good and Evil lurk... the Organization.
Taskmaster: organizer, bankroller, trainer, and to his chagrin, nanny. He's intelligent and experienced. Few have ever truely beaten him. He want's a team, but realizes that the most powerful and well known are too well watched, and/or too crazy to work with. So he decides to do some barrel scraping and see what he comes up with.
The Spot: Tasky's first recruit. a Man who could have been the greatest theif in the world, defeated because of his own idiocy. The Spot is now severely depressed paranoid.
Shocker: a brilliant inventer trapped with the drive of a thug. He joins Taskmaster's team, hoping to get some sort of insight into his own life.
Trapster: much like Shocker, Trapster gets in his own way far too much. He ironically joins the team to learn how to work on his own better. He has recently learned that his mind has been tampered with on several occasions, likely by his "friend" the Wizard.
Vulture: Feeling the old saying "I'm too old for this ****" sinking in way too quickly, he looks joins to stay in the game, even if he can't be on the scene.
Ox, Rhino, and Grizzly. Your general strong guys. Taskmaster has started them on a number of educational and critical thinking programs. slowly, but naturally, increasing their intellect. They have joined because Taskmaster has promised them one thing: Respect. That they would never again be "Just dumb muscle".
The Hood: Taskmaster views him as more of an apprentice than any of the other villains there. However, the Hood's unstable loyalties make him the one Wild Card of the group.
The plot of their team? Control. Their working out of Atlantic City, New Jersey. Far enough away from New York to avoid most of the problems citizens. At first, it would appear that they are cleaning up the city. Crime goes down dramatically, organized crime families are outed and convicted thanks to evidence donated to the police, They look like they're doing good... on the surface. That's because Taskmaster is using the intellects of Shultz, Ohn, Petruski, and Toombs combined to rob the city blind. Organizing hiests at the same time as a major event, in places where the owner would never admit it. All the while, the thugs they're putting out of buisness are finding new employment with the Organization.
