So what was the experience in your theater? What scenes clicked the most with people?

There was whooping and cheering and some people made out...

No, everyone watched the film like normal haha

Big laughs/cheers from a group whenever there was a reference to any other Avenger.

My GF and i were the only ones who laughed at the Pulp Fiction reference.

When they revealed who TWS was i hear a lot of people say "look, it's his brother!", "that's his bro!" hehe

I heard lots of murmuring when Strange was mentioned

Crowd was pretty mellow for a sold out movie. No one notice the Easter eggs. Going to see it again tonight

Our crowds are generally very engaged here so we got the normal reactions. A lot of ohhhhhhhs when Cap was kicking ass on the ship and I think
Sitwell's death
got the biggest pop of the entire film. And during the mid-credit sequence some lady loudly gasped "That's Elizabeth Olsen!!" which got a lot of laughter from the crowd. I had no idea who she was so I had to google her when I got home lol.

People were laughing at the jokes.

The scene where
Natasha was revealed to be in disguise as the female WSC member
got a large round of applause.

The guy sitting next to me was uncomfortably excited at most of the fight sequences.

There were screaming when WS appears in Pierce's kitchen. That was a creepy scene.:word: Big gasp when BW kicks Sitwell, followed by a cheer when Falcon appears and drags him back. Big shock for me was when Sitwell is talking in the car and WS out of nowhere grabs him and throws him into an oncoming traffic.:wow:

Yeah that was unexpected. Best for me was when Fury was in Cap's apartment. I wasn't expecting that.

My 8PM showing was dead. It was a bunch of friends and I, and probably 8-10 other people.

I saw an 8PM showing, I thought it would be filled with fans, but it was only half-full and appeared to be mostly general audiences. Audience was pretty quiet. I heard a couple whispers when [blackout]Doctor Strange[/blackout] was mentioned and a couple gasps behind me when the Winter Soldier's identity was revealed, but otherwise people had basically no reaction to anything, not even the mid-credits scene. About half the audience left after that, and I did hear some whispers among those who were left during the post-credits scene.

I saw it last week thurs and it was pretty quiet, probably because it was the 10am show and only 3 people in the cinema.

1pm showing here on the east coast... line that cap delivers after his final fight with the WS had people sniffing left and right in my half full theater... unexpectedly I was one of em Chris Evans has really done a fine job in this role.

There was a lot of squirming in seats and "ooo's and ah's" at some of the movies more brutal moments and the more extreme actions scenes like the Fury car chase. There were a couple of "oh s**ts" at the Bucky reveal. A few comments during the emotional scenes between Cap and Bucky and Cap and Peggy. There was quite a bit of laughing at the jokes. Scarlett's quips and sarcastic remarks in particular got a lot of laughs. There were also laughs at the Stan Lee cameo. A couple of people made comments when Robert Redford first showed up and the first stinger involving "those characters" got people excited.

One of these days I'm going to have to fly over to the US just to experience what it's like to be in a movie theatre over there. Aussie audiences barely make a sound unless there's a joke in the film.

I swear I heard at least three people breaking down part of the plot and it's comic origins to their kids in the theater...

Biggest oohs and ahs actually came at the end when Loki's scepter was shown.

This was the first Marvel film that I saw where the entire audience clapped and cheered at the end. That didn't even happen for my Avengers showings.

Stan Lee got a BIG reaction so maybe I found a showing with a ton of fans. (7:40 PM showing - lined up to get in and the same long line was there when I was walking out)

Oh yeah I forgot. the reveal of Loki's scepter got a big reaction as well.

Same here. I think my viewing of The Dark World got more laughs than this but thats not a problem since I liked that this movie didn't have much punchlines.

And compare to my viewing of TDW, a lot more people stayed through the credits.

Scarlett did look fantastic in that outfit.

That scene got a huge reaction at my showing as well. Widow played well with audiences the whole way through.

Lots of applause at the opening Marvel Logo, end title, mid credits scene and final credit scene. Overall great crowd who knew when to shut up and when to cheer or laugh.

GOTG got the largest reaction trailer wise which was also great to see and hear.

Some guy in the audience said "WTF?!" when the "WSC member" started kicking ass. It was so funny! :lmao:

My brother and I caught an 11:30 AM showing on Friday that was half-full, mostly younger people. There were laughs during Steve & Sam's first meeting and generally at all the humorous parts. A lot of scenes drew gasps and some open exclamations. Fury's car chase was surprisingly hilarious at points, but when he launched rockets and started gunning down the terrorists people audibly reacted. Cap's first few encounters were so brutal that people were saying "Whoa!" and "Damn!" The violence was shocking at times, especially for a Marvel film.

The emotional moments got to people, too. During Steve's scene with Peggy a couple of people said, "Aw, no!" I was too busy crying (I think my bro even wiped away a tear).

When the Winter Soldier's mask finally came off half the audience screamed "Bucky!" I've never heard that many people cry out during a movie. People who didn't already know sounded really upset. The final fight was really distressing and people were reacting to it. It was awful in a good way, if that makes sense.

Half of the crowd stayed until the second credits scene, first time it has ever happened. A few years ago it would have been me, my gf or brother and maybe another small group, now it was almost half of the theater.
