There isn't an official profession for it because it's pseudo-science. You pretty much have to self-employ as one.
Most if not all have some other job, usually a a zoologist/marine biologist and do cryptoid stuff on the side.
Has he actually tried to send the samples to multiple experts with the proper credentials?
Also, audio recordings aren't very reliable as evidence as they can easily be either faked or misappropriated sounds of known animals.
Isn't it proven that there are aliens? Just not the Take Me to Your Leader Kind/Anal Prove kind.I can't believe that people don't believe in the supernatural or aliens. There's just so much stuff that goes unexplained.
-I missed that, sorry~
-Why wouldn't it have venom? It's already an all around bad ass. It can do whatever it wants.
Yes.
That goes without saying.
You know what else goes without saying?
Then he should keep doing so.
Then why mention it to begin with?
Despite the fact that he believes in Big Foot (I personally don't know whether I believe it or not, but that's the fun of cryptozoology), he's a level headed guy, and lives and breathes this stuff. He want's to prove without a shadow of a doubt that what we call "bigfoot" is a real creature; yet unlike other bigfoot hunters, he doesn't stop when a single person gives him feedback that fits into his perception. And if someone says "no, thats a opossum hair" (or whatever), he has no problem saying "okay".
siiigh.
Because yes, it is true that audio is one of the easiest things to fake, but considering the guy is a very honest individual, I don't doubt that his audio recordings are real. He wouldn't spend the money and time that he does to fake things.
Does the fact that the scientists he's contacted can't identify the hair and audio samples mean that it IS bigfoot? Hardly, and he would be the first to say so; all it means (for now) is that there is some kind of animal out there yet to be identified.
Lol, I remember that.
I sorta believe in Bigfoot, but now that I think about it. It's sorta unreal to believe a bunch of giant apes are living in the American forests & we haven't seen one yet. Even if they do bury their dead. Especially since most of the animals that are still being discovered are either small or in the deep parts of the ocean, that we've barely searched in.

My only complaint with this video is, why would someone be recording this in the first place?

This is funny to me for some reason.
