mothers complain about scary billboards for theme park

If I were younger and scared of it, the clinical term for me would be "b***h."

You'd think they'd just bring their kids to the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at Disney World instead. It's only about 20 minutes away from Universal. They can even go trick-or-treating there, I think.

I can't imagine why anyone would think bringing their kids to the Universal Horror Nights is a good idea. People are dumb.
Only time I sort of understand are when tourists have no place to leave the kids, but even then it still anoys me.
Interesting, tell me about your mother...

who's that?
*Sigh* Sigmund Freud. Stay in school kids.
:lmao:
I think that the billboard itself is incredibly quirky and fun from a design perspective. Me gusta.
I agree

I'd give anything to go to one of those Universal Halloween Horror nights. Universal gets halloween. Their Halloween Horror Nights, from what youtube and the travel channel have shown me, are brilliantly directed, legitimately scary, and fun. Just like Halloween used to be. Not to mention Universal understands horror icons, and how to create them.

Now that said, the billboard would have given me nightmares, the more I think about it. When you're a child and afraid of something, that image sticks in your head for a while. I was 11 when the Passion came out. At the time I was (as I was raised) a bleeding-heart catholic. Because of that, my evangelical friend got me in to an early screening of The Passion. , although it made me cry, wasn't what stuck with me. The images of satan did. It made me terrifyed to be alone. It gave me nightmares, made me afraid of the dark.

On an unrealted note, Now I'm agnostic. I hate that movie, and I hate my friend's mom for taking young children into a movie like that.

the trick to HHN and i know this sounds stupid is do not scream, i've been to a few and once the actors get a screamer they will not leave them alone. laugh and they move on
