Got them a couple of years ago from some guy on eBay -- then had to find the right paint to use on them, which I do have to keep re-applying. But they really are perfect boots!

Wow, they look really authentic. Do you know if they have a make or model that I can have to try and hunt down a pair or if the guy or anyone else is still selling them?

Hey guys, noob here from minneapolis.

Looking to make my own superman costume based pretty much exactly off of the Superman Returns movie.

First off, does anyone know where I can get a pattern on how to do this?

Also, what materials have people been using? Where is the best place to get milliskin? Do most tailors sew costumes like this?

I may have missed it in this thread but about a year ago i came across a extremely elaborate superman returns costume being sold online, had the boots with lifts, the pattern in the spandex etc, real quality, it wasn't a one off, just wondering if anyone has a link to where I may look at further details of this suit, thanks.

Sounds like Ricky's Custom Costumes. He used to have his own site and a store on eBay but it looks like he's disappeared. Shame as his work was excellent (see my review a few posts up) but his delivery estimates were terrible, 3 weeks became more like 3 months. I enjoyed dealing with him but I wonder if this was the start of why he closed his store.

Pity I'm so late to this party. Any chance people know where to purchase a really good Superman Costume now? Ricky's is gone, as well as it seemed hard to find any of the other places people were talking about in 07-08.

Any help would be appreciated. Some amazing costumes were here over the past 4 years.
