I remember reading this in the book, Sophie holding the Madonna of the Rocks up to a security guard, but it wasn't in the final film. Is this a deleted scene or is it a manip? I don't think it was a well written episode in the novel :o

It is a painting Sophie is "holding hostage" in order to get the security guard to not attempt to arrest them. I think the movie was fine with out that scene.

They probably took the scene out because it was so stupid.

That's just your opinion, it's not fact. You should preface your comment with a statement that identifies and signifies this. It is a bit more graceful.

Uh, okay?

The movie is long and boring enough as it is...

Short attention span I take it? Well, if you want fast paced mindless action, you can always watch a Brett Ratner or Paul Anderson movie.

Movies like Rush Hour, AVP, and Resident Evil seem to be your type of films.

I wasn't insulting you. You're a cool cat. :)

It's just when people say the movie is boring or too long, I just naturally assume that they have a short attention.

Wait, you love AVP and Resident Evil? :( :down

:p

RE2 as well :(

There's nothing wrong with liking those, it's not wrong. Just because someone doesn't do things you do or like the things you like gives you no right to put them down. :o

Anyway, back on topic. I like AvP as well :O

I'm glad that scene wasn't in the film. I hated reading it.

No, far from it. I just found it boring considering it was billed as a thriller.

I hate AVP, RE but I like RH

Did you like the book?
I thought it was good and made you think about some things that the church may have covered up. I preferred Angels and Demons though

I prefered Angels and Demons too.

This scene is in the extended edition of the film, and was rather...I dunno...odd to watch as I didn't like it in the novel and now it's in one of my favourite films of 2006...it's cool, though coz Sophie's the center of the scene, and she's my fave character, so...it's win-win haha

ooh...nice, December...two years away...cool!

On the DVD, Ron said that they've sort of mixed it up, and that Da Vinci was Langdon's first mystery thriller, so I dunno how that's gonna work...I mean, it works if they make Angels and Demons a prequel...because a lot of the stuff in Da Vinci can sort of be taken either way - his first mystery, or he's just horrified. I prefer to take the latter, and he's been on these missions before.

Ahh Da vinci code had an easier mystery than a episode of CSI.Wish it would have been harder to find it out.

I'm glad they changed the ending from the book. Having Tom Hanks wake up anf find it was all a dream seems kinda stupid to me.
