Transformers Dane Cook withdraws from the Transformers movie

I don't want top get into the whole 'who killed more' debate but Hitler and his chums were far from Christian. They were Darwinists and a lot of their atrocities were a direct result of the related 'survival of the fittest' mantra.

Plus it was closer to 16 million IIRC.

The worst war in world history was caused by these guys ^, not religious fundamentalists.

I agree. Hitler and his chums were far from Christian. So were the Spanish Conquistadors. As are Muslim terrorists far from being Muslim. They're all nuts. Whatever the motivation and justifications Nazis may have used (and they used many... including religion) the question was about ignorantly assuming that Christian civilization (which unfortunately DOES include Nazi Germany) is somehow saintly and not guilty of the same attrocities as any other group in the world.

In other words, we(?) (they're?) no better.

In the year 2005...didn't Megatron and his nasty Deceptichumps enslaved like 50 million people of which, 35 million died by electrocution when forced to handle large chunks of energon cubes in an assembly line like manner? Nobody speaks for these guys.

Dane Cook gone...more fat trimmed. But judging by some of the screen shots I've seen, this productions gonna need a total makeover.

I imagine there's gonna be a few landfills overflowing with Transformers toys. It seems to be building up to a classic case of "too much".

I don't know about that. I need to stay away from the Allspark at this point, those guys went looney. One guy thinks the draft script is going to be "substantially different" when they change the dialogue...which they won't.
