Bringing back Williams' theme was Whedon's idea, it shows how weird his take on this stuff is.

Like I said, the idea itself(bringing Whedon in and paying homage to the William's theme), makes sense. They just botched the execution.

This new JL theme...ugh. Hoping its fake, but chances are very very slim.

Elfman was brought in at the last minute. It's very hard to write as many great themes as is required for every character that needs it. But that's the time when you steal something great and make it your own, John Williams way and not to make something forgettable when there's really no place for that.

Elfman was brought in at the last minute. It's very hard to write as many great themes as is required for every character that needs it. But that's the time when you steal something great and make it your own, John Williams way and not to make something forgettable when there's really no place for that.

Last minute? he was brought in on June. That's around 5months before the movie. He had a lot of time.

Logan replaced composers 2months before the movie, and the score is still great and emotional.

Time's not an excuse if the score is not good.

Just heard the JL theme. It SOUNDS good, but has no detectable melody.

It's like Elfman took the SpiderMan base and sucked out the melody.

It's bizarre..because it's enjoyable enough for me not to hate it, but it feels deliberately unmemorable.

Naaahhhh I think you guys are wrong on this. This isnt THE theme. I think "Justice League United" is gonna be the part in the third act where the team is fully formed and we get the group shot and this is what plays during that shot. But this isnt THE theme. This isnt whats gonna play at the very end and over the credits.

I actually like it a lot for THAT moment but its not the JL theme.

I agree, people are making a mountain out of a molehill. Track 2 is the JL theme.

I like it .

I did hear the "avengers" part but it might be an homage/easter egg, just like he put the old Batman theme and such. After all, The Avengers was the first superheroes team up movie. I doubt Elfman would use that part just because he lacked of ideas for the track.

It’s good, but it doesn’t have that distinct sound that sets it apart like the avengers theme.

It’s not the actual theme so I’m not worried anymore, a previous post debunked that thought.
