Dante Spinotti was the DOP for X-men the Last Stand while N Thomas Sigel did the previous two X-men films... who do you think did a better job overall with the cinematography, framing and way the film looked overall

I think Dante Spinotti actually wins pretty much hands down... Thomas Sigel's shots always seemed too up close or far less epic and expansive than Dante's

Sigel(is that spelled right?)... The first two X-Men films set the standard... X3 just tried to follow suit.

I didn't look at the movies to compare the framing and cinematography..

Maybe I will once I get the X3 dvd or when I watch the movie again, but it's very hard to compare...

I didn't even really notice too much of a difference in the types of shots and stuff.

Spinotti.

He got the X3 money shots just right and everything else was just wonderful

Spinotti's work was incredible IMO. Just the scope of the action was amazing. Seeing Storm spin down from the skies as a human tornado, while Jean Grey lifted the handicapped from his chair was some of the most heart-pounding moments I've ever experienced watching an X-film.

He's definitely > Sigel.
