Daphne and Velma

I had no idea anybody was waiting to see that.

So where's my "Funky Phantom" origin movie??

One of those two is my secret long-standing cartoon 'crush'... [BLACKOUT]Velma Dinkley! [/BLACKOUT]:ilv:

the Scooby-verse should never be as high tech as it seems in the trailer.

Jinkies, they're really reaching with what they think fans want to see :whatever:

So where's my Clue Club movie?

the Scooby-verse should never be as high tech as it seems in the trailer.
It does feel right at home with 1970's era technology which makes sense given that was it's heyday.

I kinda want things to come full circle and for James Gunn to get the helm of a Scooby-Doo movie.

Finally, the Scooby Doo-verse film we've all been waiting for.

Ah, I forgot that it seemed like WB decided to just go the DTV route with this franchise.

This reminds me of many, many, many Scooby-Doo cartoons and related spinoffs (such as movies or live action) that have kept coming out especially in recent years. It's like they will do one to three seasons, tops, of a Scooby-Doo series. Then drop it, start a completely new one that "reinvents" them in some new location and style only to rinse and repeat within the span of a year or two.

The last one they had (Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!) I liked because it felt the most truly reinventive and naturally it lasted two seasons.

What I'm wondering is why. Either the series are doing well so why cancel them or they are not so why keep trying to make it happen when they should let it rest a few years?
