If they ever do make a sequel, make it a good old prequel. It could be a Vague prequel, which lossely leads up to the first movie in some fashion.
Daredevil 2: Born Again
It would be in Matts first year as Daredevil. It would have Daredevil [ in his senior year in college] who starts out in his original yellow and red costume, and Matt thinking himself as a swash buckler type hero. Matt also has been enjoying success his first few months, and is gaining a reputation in the underworld as "The man without fear". Then one night while investigating a murder, he meets Saundra sax, an attractive Prostitute with ties to the mafia. Saundra is found near the crime scene, and is taken away buy the police. Matt though is convinced she did not do it and follows her to the police station. Saundra is interrogated buy a detective Samuels, who sees her as complete scum. Samules is convinced she did it, and almost seems determiend to shut her up. After sneaking into the Station, Daredevil talks to Saundra and gets her side of the story. Saundra convinces him to let her prove herself, and Daredevil helps her break out of the jail
Together they discover a gang war erupting within New York's criminal underground, apparently instigated by mob boss named Vinnie Gognitti over the black market gun trade. One of the main groups fighting this war are the Cleaners, a group of vicious mercenaries that disguise themselves as janitorial staff. This shadowy organization eludes detection because they dispose of all evidence of their crimes: bullet casings, bodies, and blood. Daredevil trails them back ot their hideout, an old warehouse. Daredevil communicates with Saundra via radio and she arrives at the site, where they battle their way through the warehouse.
Detective Samuel soon arrives and holds Saundra at gunpoint; Saundra says that he is there to kill her,and that hes corrupt and works for the Cleaners. Daredevil struggles with the dilemma, finally takeing down the crooked detective and telling Saundra to run. Daredevil takes the beaten detective Samuels to the hospital, but Cleaners swarm the hospital to finish off the crooked detective,believing he was the one to compromise their hideout.
Daredevil fights a one man battle, as he trys to protect the detective from the cleaners. He is soon overpowered, and is unable to stop them from putting a bullet in the detectives head. A beatin and stunned Daredevil escapes the hospital, and goes looking for Saundra for answers. He finds her, and she reveals to him a russian mob boss named Vlad is behind the Cleaners actions, and that Vlad is trying to become the new Kingpin of crime. Saundra informs Daredevil mob boss Vinnie Gognitti is next on the Cleaners list. Daredevil and Saundra rush to mob boss Vinnie Gognitti. They arrive at one of his restuarants, but are ambushed buy the Cleaners and Vlad. In a shocking discovery, Vlad tells Daredevil that Saundra was hired to kill him. Saundra was never a hooker, but an assassin and a member of the Cleaners. After they make Daredevil watch as Saundra kills Vinnie Gognitti. Vlad orders her to shoot Daredevil in that Head. She has devopled strong feelings for her masked guardian though, however, and can't pull the trigger. Vlad is disgusted and orders the other Cleaners to shoot Saundra. Matt watches as they shoot her dead, but this gives him enough time to make a daring escape, but he gets shot in the process of escapeing.
Matt retreats back to his church in the rain, and in anger rips off his yellow costume and swears never to do this again. Matt beleives he never took what he was doing serously enough, and his actions have now caused people to die. He also realizes that although Saundra saved him, he was foolish to trust a suspect like that.His body injured and his belief shaken, Matt destroys his costume. Meanwhile Vlad with the help of the Cleaners, slowly rises to the top of the underworld, and soon wishes to take down the Kingpin himself.
5 WEEKS LATER:
Matt hasn't been out as the Daredevil for weeks, and has formed a close friendship with his roomate Foggy Nelson. Foggy notes how different Matt has been the last 5 weeks as well. Matt though hears over the news of mysterous deaths of prominent business men in New York, but Matt knows the business men were also mafia bosses. The war is still going on, and now Matt is unsure if he can just do nothing. He goes to talk to Father everrett at his church.
Fathers words about heroism and god, makes Matt understand only a true devil can fight demons. Matt with renewed determination, creates a new all dark Red outfit, and now really looks like a devil come to life. His attuide changes as well, he must think of this as a war, and must feel little pitty for anyone who breaks the law. Daredevil was a swashbuckler before, and now he was BORN AGAIN as a dark avenger.
In his new dark Red outfit, Daredevil tracks down a lowlife hit-men for Vlad at a shady bar. Daredevil new grimmer demenor frightens the punk badly, and He tells Daredevil that Vlad is getting ready for a play for the Kingpins turf. Daredevil then beats him up some more, and then heads with this new information for a final showdwon with Vlad. Vlad other men witnessed Daredevils attack at the bar, and went ahead to warn Vlad. Vlad has grown even more cocky, and sees himself as invincible now.
Daredevil makes his way to Vlads Mansion, but it is heavily guarded. In a daring break in, Daredevil fight his way through Vlads manor. Daredevil also plants small explosives throughout the structure, and is ready to die if needed. He soon finds Vlad, In a struggle, bombs placed throughout the manor are detonated, and Dardevil chases Vlad through the burning, collapsing structure. Finally cornering Vlad above the sprawling main room of the mansion, Daredevil dislodges a giant spire that he compares to the Sword of Damocles hanging from the ceiling. The massive weight crashes into the observation platform Vlad is on, knocking off the sides of the platform and Dardevil tosses debris at him. This causes Vlad to stumble onto the piece of the Sword still attached to the skylight. The force dislodges the Sword of Damocles once again, and it continues the fall to the main room with Vlad in tow. Upon hitting the ground, Vlad is consumed by the flames of The explosives
As police arrive at the scene, Daredevil vanishes from the scene. The next night, Matt overhears on the news about mansion incident, and how evidence was found of business man Vlads connection to the underworld. With a new attuide and a renewed determination Daredevil watches over Hells kitchen born again.
