Spider - Man said:The fact still remains that MSJ directed the scenes of DD with lighting so dark (or confusing) that you can hardly tell what is going on. Thats what ruined it (theater AND DC) for me.

I did not mind that's "the C train" because it actually sounded like something a real vigilante would say. It's not overly clever. However I will say that a lot of the dialogue, especially between him and Elektra, was weak.Ben Urich said:Yeah the Producers take most of the blame, but MSJ needs to bear some of it, too. The dialogue was weak in places ("That's th C Train!") and the fights were poorly designed and edited.

He didn't have the balls or vision for a rated "R" Daredevil movie and Ghostrider is looking really pedestrian (Yeah,Yeah the bike is cool, but I'm getting a really campy vibe from the movie.)
Steve Norrington was born to direct a Ghostrider movie, but Sean Connery and FOX made sure that'll never happen.

Burton's style of darkness and Daredevil's style of darkness aren't the same. I feel the same way about Batman. Burton's Batman was pretty good, but it felt it was too stylized and a little campy.Dr. Fate said:Can you imagine if Daredevil was directed by Tim Burton?
DCW said:Anyway, I've decided that I'm going to buy it but have been reading about how much better the director's cut is. Could someone please list the difference between the theatrical version and the director's cut? And could someone tell me why the director's cut is rated R?
Savage said:Yup. It was Gary Foster. Aaall his doing...And he's working on Ghost Rider...*sssssiiiigh*
And I liked the C-Train line.![]()
