Picked up the first issue today. Love the art, kind of has an late 80s early 90s Vertigo feel to it. The writing's pretty gritty too. Can't wait for the next issue.

So far I've picked up Spidey Noir and now this. I'm starting to hope it becomes an ongoing.

Picked it up as well, enjoyed it...I picked up the Spidey as well, really enjoyed that. I wish I had a chance to pickup the Xmen one as well now.

Yeah, I too was curious how different NOIR was from regular DD. Not enough to pick it up, though.

Criminal is noir, though, and its written by Brubaker too! You should all read that, I bet its way better than this tripe:up:

Bendis' Daredevil sort of flirted with the noir genre, but never went as far as this does. It's pretty good, by the way. I've liked all three of the noir series, but the X-Men one is the only one of them that has done what I was expecting, with the removal of the powers and setting it in a real world kind of situation for the most part. It's also been my favorite of the three.

X-Men has been my favorite of the three as well. Great twist on the original concept and the story was really good. I recommend to anyone who liked Spidey Noir or DD Noir to go ahead and wait for the trade to come out for X-Men Noir.

Criminal is pretty good but that doesn't mean that X-Men Noir isn't also very good.

You obviously haven't read X-Men Noir then.

I think I made that pretty clear. I don't read half the things I post myself.
