Yes to Garret Hedlund. Best one out of the three.

I doubt it would be all that big because Daredevil isn't all that big of a character and the first movie isn't like a beloved classic.

Honestly I was always disappointed with Affleck's casting as Daredevil. I don't think Affleck is a horrible actor but he was just too much of a big star to me. Too much of a fresh faced heart throb type to really get into the role.

I always wanted a really serious, gritty actor for the role sort of like Bale for Batman.

What hurt Daredevil for me is that they said they were going to make like the comic book superhero version of Se7en and then they ended up putting all that goofy **** in it. Like the playground fight.

The later fight with Bullseye was terrible because I mean if the point is to show Daredevil's vulnerability and the damage he sustains he basically pops up at the end with no medical treatment and is quickly back into the fight with Bullseye. Horrendous transition. I remember all this talk before the movie how the movie is supposed to have this great opening where Daredevil is dying and almost on his last legs and then it gets into the flashback. So disappointing.

IMO Daredevil is a good movie up until the playground fight

Aside from The Mentalist being one of my favorite shows, I actually like the choice of Simon Baker. He was totally Murdock-esque in this episode.

One thing I'm worried about is that since this is a sequel, don't they have to mention the last film in some capacity? It's been about 7 - 8 years since the first one came out, and alot of people probably have forgotten. People need to be reminded.
