Daredevil reboot: official discussion thread

I think he offers some really creepy visuals that would look brilliant on the screen. His abilities also offer short aerial battles that would be pretty great.

My script uses The Owl and Gladiator as main villains with Wilson Fisk as a supporting role along with Foggy and Karen.
It focuses on the MGH trade as The Owl tries to steal Fisk's empire with DD stuck in the middle trying to get revenge on Fisk for his fathers death.

I would love to see the Gladiator in a DD movie. All these villains harken back to a pre-Frank Miller era though (which I actually like). Gladiator certainly would be memorable. With those spinning buzz saw blades, he would be iconic like a Bond villain.

I'd like to see Deathstalker as well. He would be cool and would fit in with Gladiator.

Has Marvel regained the rights to DD, or is it still in the hands of Fox? If not i'd prefer to wait until marvel gets it back just like they did with Blade.

I would like Bradley Cooper as Matt Murdock. I just feel that he can pull off the role of a blind lawyer very well and look good in the Daredevil costume.

Even after making a good x-men and apes movie, fans are complaining. I am sure fox has every intention to make a good daredevil movie and not **** it up. It's just that I am not sure the director is right.....they should have hired an english director for the gig.

Either your hatredness for fox clouds your true opinion on Apes OR you don't know what makes a good summer blockbuster movie.

Apes was the best movie of this summer. Everything else pales in comparison.

I always liked the Ultimate Alliance 2 Daredevil costume.

It's form-fitting but still allows for protection. Just make it a bit redder and darken the logo and you've got yourself a reboot suit.

I like this one a lot.
Hopefully they could go with this. Maybe with a little darker red. Just slightly darker.

i'm a mixed bag with the film. I thought it was good, and very well done. But to be honest it's 110% how i thought it would be, and i got the same emotion from the film that i did the trailers... I really felt like watching the whole movie added nothing new to it.

So I just finished a five-season/2 week DEXTER marathon in anticipation of the Season 6 premiere, and all I gotta say is: Michael C. Hall must play Daredevil. Please, David Slade, give Dexter Morgan the Daredevil gig. Please.

no... there's nothing "period piece" reminiscent at all about Daredevil..., unlike X-men, Fantastic Four, and spider-man who all had alot of cultural influences of each decade they were written in.

Daredevil could fit a 1930s film noir-ish style film well... but it'd still be pointless since the comic was never even around then.

Really looking forward to what Slade does, hopefully no corny fights this time.. keep it dark... daredevil is not a playful character.. he can have a sense of humor but leave that to the supporting cast next time. 2 bad guys for Daredevil is a must... now who? No clue.. just make DD good!!

A tv for Daredevil would be good! Just make it dark and True to the comics, Don't get an actor who even says hes embarrassed to put on the costume like Ben Affleck
