i'm an actor. I'm currently in the process of throwing around ideas for a Daredevil indie film. I'll be playing Matt Murdoch/Daredevil, and will be similar to Jim Lee/Tim Sales "Yellow" graphic novel, when Daredevil looks back upon his life, how he became Daredevil, and where he's going.

Remake "Elektra" but make a sequel to Daredevil. If Ben doesn't come back cast his pal Matt Damon as Matt Murdock or someone who looks like Ben.

And IMO make the movie rated-R or a hard PG-13. No bull****ting this time, no funny moments unless from Foggy Nelson, and tons of action and blood.

A good DD sequel can be done. The first was released in 2003. It is only 4 years after. Considering how many sequels are made 5+ years after the first, a sequel can still be done. Plus, DD was not a flop. FOX doesn't want to move forward with DD cause of Elektra. Not DD. I'd like to see a sequel more. The theatrical cut had some good moments, but the DC was awesome. If we can get a sequel closer to the DC, that would be the way to go. I hope Marvel does a sequel when the rights are taken from FOX.

I wish we could have a third movie called Daredevil and Elektra kinda in reverse order of the Ultimate minis. But this time don't screw with the Director let him do hit cut for the actual movie.

i have both versions and enjoy both, but i agree, the directors cut was truly superb, and it is really a new cut and a new vision of the movie, because i´ve seen others so called directors cut and it doesn´t feel any change about the thetrical one, like the Elektra one. All i ask its a good couple of sequels with Ben Affleck and the same Grame Revell´s score, i really don´t want a reboot of the franchise or a new actor. Sorry for my English

Guy Pierce would have made the perfect Matt Murdoch/Daredevil..Affleck was was too bulky to play DD !!

I agree 1000000% Guy Pearce is perfect for Matt Murdock. And plus he's a good actor aswell, 10X better than Affleck.

I would love to see a "Daredevil" sequel 100%. This story really needs another chapter to redeem the backlash from "Elektra". Jennifer Garner is a great actress, but in that role she really seemed misplaced. The only watchable moments in the film were between Elektra and her sensei, Stick. I didn't bother with buying the DVD, but I have both cuts of "Daredevil", and like many others, I do favor MSJ's Director's Cut. I know Marvel is up in arms over the financial losses from the spinoff, but they really need to seriously consider a true sequel to the Matt Murdock's story.

Daredevil was not even mentioned in Elektra, and the Elektra movie wasn't even the same kind of movie Daredevil was. If they want to distance themselves from Elektra, just don't mention her character. Not hard to do.

well, if they are going to do another DD movie, lets hope they get a few things straight. DD does not kill! (made me so mad that he did in the first 15 mins) and lets get his radar power right!
and yeah I'm not a big fan of the guy they had play him. there have to be more qualified people out there.

If they do make a seqeul I would watch it and probably buy it when it came out on dvd I am trying to buy all of the comic book hero movies that are being made and that are already made. These are the ones I have so far I have others but they are on vhs.

Hell yeah the DC rocked. There was like 30 mins of additional footage and stuff started to make sense.

Not to mention all fights were longer. God, I still can't believe the awful editing on the original version for the DD/Kingpin battle... And considering how I genuinely believe the bar fight was one of the most visceraly satisfying (guy in a suit beating the f*** out of people with them hitting back) action scenes in any Marvel movie, well, of course I'm all for the DC and longer more sensical scenes.

As for the actual thread...

Yeah, a sequel Elektra-less would be cool.

Still haven't gotten over Jennifer fighting f****n bed shets and beating some of the baddies in like 3 seconds flat (creep with the COIN, anyone???). Just... hungh.

Nah, Norton would've made a pretty crap Daredevil.
