I'm not saying that I don't like stories that are important. I'm saying that too many writers try and be important and fail by dragging a story out too long.
DD is refreshing because it isn't trying to be important, it's trying to be entertaining and it's succeeding. At least, it is with me.
Still enjoying it, but I really enjoyed Lee Weeks' first three issues of Daredevil: Dark Nights. Haven't seen many talking about it either, so I'd like to throw it out there as worth getting (at least the first three issues; creative team switches with #4 next month).Thought I might try to re-activate this discussion so to speak, is everyone still liking Waid's run on DD?
I have to say I was really shocked whenbut I think it's a brilliant story decision, it's really a great mix of the dark DD that most people are used to along with the lighter DD we got at the start of the series.Foggy was diagnosed with cancer
