The Dark Knight Dark Knight gets twenty Spike TV Scream Awards nominations

I have a feeling TDK will get many of these. I'll be safe and say at least 5.

It will get many to be sure. We know the joker will win for best villain for sure.

agreed....hope they get the movies catch phrase right though

Yeah, I think they should just hand that one over to TDK immediately. Don't even open the envelope. I think Nolan will get Best Director as well

Gary Oldman should win the one he's up for as well. The only one that I could see definitely losing is maggie.

Edit: I feel bad for Aaron because I believe he was in the same category as heath. I definitely think Aaron deserves something for his performance.

Well, it looks like TDK will clean up.

(to self YES! :hehe)

LOL TDK's success makes me so happy. :woot:

That's a whole lotta nominations.

Hopefully, a sign of things to come.

TDK should have gotten all six spots in the "Holy s*** scene of the year"

TDK should have gotten all six spots in the "Holy s*** scene of the year"

I could see how it could have most of them. It could have the two it has then it could have included the cell phone bomb, killing the love interest (not really much of a spoiler since just about everyone's seen the movie) and the two-face/maroni car scene.

Wow Joker will win in every catergory he's in. Mark my words.

After these awards the Spike TV Scream Awards will change its name to the TDK awards. :o

Gary Oldman definitely deserves the supporting award. He was excellent! Especially at the end with two-face. And the end speech to end the film. Amazing! "...A Dark Knight." Awesome stuff.

Bale deserves his award too. He embodied Batman. A man trying to harness all that rage and anger into the Batman persona. In this film he was driven to the edge, his girl, Rachel killed at the hand of a murderer; you can feel him trying hard to restrain himself; restrain the emotion and the anger, and still be Batman. It was an amazing performance!

"I'm sorry...FOR EVERYTHING".

Oldman is one of best, underrated and versatile actors working today.

:lmao: Isn't the batmobile/batpod chase the same scene as the big rig flip? I guess it deserved its own nomination!

Yes. Oldman should win best supporting performance. And I agree with Eckhart being overlooked. His performance as Dent/Two-Face was great and as tragic as anything I've seen. Heath was fantastic and completely amazing as Joker, but most have looked over anything with the Two-Face dilemma.

“I believe whatever doesn’t kill you, simply makes you, stranger” - Joker

Still My favorite line from the movie, after seeing I don't know how many times.
