The Dark Knight 'Dark Knight' Joker badges glorifying Knife crime!?

Um, are they saying Joker is inspiring knife crime?

Much ado about nothing. I had much worse things marketed toward and sold to me when I was a kid.

Um, are they saying Joker is inspiring knife crime?

It would seem so... and I quote:

In one scene, the character of the Joker says he enjoys using a knife to kill because it takes his victims longer to die.

I'm afraid this character may be added to the excuse of rise in knife crimes.

Well the one with the knifes is kinda bad wouldnt you say?

I've always felt rampant knife crime got a bit of a bad rap.

That's the ****ing dumbest article I've ever read. I love that all of a sudden people are incapable of separating a movie from reality. Why so serious. It's like a kid seeing terminator and thinking its real cool to cut his eyeball out.

Well, you Brit's traditionally have been prone to knife and blunt instrument crime over gunplay. And the Joker scarring, the Chelsea Grin a.k.a. Glasgow Grin, is something pretty much a melancholy gang branding over there as well.

It's like a kid seeing terminator and thinking its real cool to cut his eyeball out.

Actually, I heard an Urban Legend in Jr. High (circa '88)about a kid tripping in LSD thand thought he was a terminator and cut into his eye with an exacto to see his real metal red glowing eye. All he found was pain and blindness.

It's a mask I make. It's one of the ones I wore for Halloween.
****, that's awesome . way better than those piece of **** joker masks they've been selling recently .

A few copycats Jokers, Nolan banning his film in England and it's A Clockwork orange all over again.
Well, Heath did mention Alex as an influence:cwink:.

Wow I can almost understand the knife badge but the "Lets put a smile on the face" uh thats not written in blood it is multi colored so I dont see any issue with it and truth be told unless you as a parent took ur kid to see the movie I doubt they'd know wtf that meant.

Former Tory leader Iain Duncan Smith, who took his 15-year-old daughter to see the film, slammed it as 'relentlessly violent'

did I see the same movie 9 times in theaters? I dont think it was insanely violent in fact theres not that much violence at all its all intense sequences but uh you dont see gambol get carved the most intense image is from Harvey Dent as he is burned alive then shown afterwards. YET THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE JOKER OR KNIVES hell start saying arsen increases are because heath wanted to watch the world burn.

I'm indifferent on the knife badge, but this is getting blown out of proportion. Parents should pay attention and tell their children that knives are not good things instead of shifting blame or raising a stink when someone takes it too far.

This should just be ignored. It's the nanny state trying kill our joy. It's funny, they ban games (manhunt) and lambast movies like TDK for glamorizing knife crime but then what do they do? They keep letting in all the Somali immigrants who are responsible for approx 75 % of knife crime in London. Our government is full of ****ing wankers.
