I would've like to seen Goyer's direction with Ryan Reynolds, but I'm not bothered that Dobkin's on board. if he was smart he'd hire Reynolds, he's the perfect Flash for this generation. comedic elements will be cool for the me, just so long as it's not saturated with teen jokes all day long. it has to be action and most importantly intriguingly realistic. the science surrounding the Flash's abilities can be pretty thought provoking. I'd like to see them have that objective in mind.
and thank God it's not a spin-off. personally, I don't see JL seeing the light of day. that movie should wait another 5 to 7 years while the superheroes are actually introduced in their own solo movies. even then, are people going to be open to seeing new actors to Batman and Superman other than Bale and Routh? well, Routh I can understand. he sucks. but replacing Bale would probably draw off some attention. look what it did when Keaton was replaced by Kilmner.
