David Finch: "No More Ultimate Comics."

I feel kinda bad for Pym...Imagine all the supers sitting down at a bar:

SPIDEY: So, who're you guys' arch-enemies today? I'm not sure if half my people still
exist, so I'm gonna sit this one out.

CAPTAIN BUCKY: Well, Skull is still at it.

THOR: Loki is lying low...but he--er--she surely has something in the works.

WOLVERINE: Snickt snickt bub!

SPIDEY: How 'bout you, Pym?

PYM: Well...uh...you know...

SPIDEY: Who is DO you fight anyway??

PYM: Oh, just a guy....

SPIDEY: ...

PYM: Fine. Egghead.

SPIDEY/THOR/CAP/WOLVIE: Bwhahahahahaha!

Or they could just bring him back in the 616 universe with a makeover and a halfway decent evil scheme for once. Look at what the Knaufs just did for the Mandarin, a villain who's always been little more than a goofy, arguably offensive cultural stereotype.

He's dead in the 616 universe and there really is no reason to bring him back from the dead, considering he has stayed that way for 20 years.

plus with an Ultimate version you can get to the core of the character (a traitorious government scientist) and ignore a bunch of silly and boring stories in the process. Plus give him a redisgn so he doesn't look so goofy (with an actual egg shaped head.)

True, but there are no bad characters, only bad writers. If Gail Simone can make a decent character out of Catman then anything is possible.

The point is if the UU is truely different from the 616 universe, than making an uber lame character like Egghead interesting could be a good challenge, because so far most Ultimate villains are less impressive then their 616 counterparts.

You don't necessarily need to reference goofy old stories for the 616 character, either. They'll still exist, but they'd essentially just be unspoken history between the characters. To go back to my Mandarin example: Iron Man figures out the Mandarin is behind the recent troubles SHIELD's been facing and freaks out a bit, but that time he teamed up with Loki in Acts of Vengeance isn't mentioned or anything. There's no real reason Eggman couldn't be brought back in the 616 universe as easily as he could be introduced in the Ultimate universe.

And 20 years is nothing in comic time. Just ask Barry Allen.

They could team him up with the Ultimate Walrus...

I perfer he stay dead in the 616 universe, for once can someone stay dead. it trusn death into a joke when every Z-list character can defy it and the story of his death is decent enough.

Besides if he came in the 616 universe he be be another generic mad scinetist, in the ultimate Universe he would be able to cause more trouble, because the ultimates wouldn't know he is a villiain, which makes him more dangerous. A comic book version of Robert Hanssen is far more interesting than just another mad scientist, especially when there are farmore interesting mad scientists in MU.

Well Captain America said it himself he is not the symbol of america but just one with american values

look at Heroes Reborn in some ways it is similar to Marvel(white Nick Fury, Tony get hit by shrapenel, fantastic four transformed into f4, Incredible Hulk transformed because of gamma bomb) but in ways it is a dramatic revision(costumes, captain america got amnesia and not in ice block, girl bucky, liz ross) but Ultimate Marvel lasted longer and is so cooler
