Cause they have a script for Batman 3 and The Man of Steel and they have to be making this movie by 2011. So it'll be out by 2012 or 2013, either way Chris Nolan won't be able to direct both.

It certainly would be interesting to see Jonah doing Superman. I mean, he'd have Chris and Goyer and the studio pretty much telling him what to do so I'm sure we wouldnt have to worry about it being his directorial debut.

I'm 1000 percent sure that Nolan wouldn't even be interested in directing Superman. Superman is a hopeful, light character, not the brooding detectives that Nolan likes to direct.

I'm actually shocked that Goyer even wants to tackle Superman as it's out of his comfort zone too.

That and his plate is pretty full. The guy can make pretty much anything he wants, and I doubt he'll want to burden himself with another huge franchise.

What does WB expect? They sit around on their asses and never announce anything. It takes websites like LR for us to find out what's going on.

Maybe they should stop with "in the coming months we have announcements" BS and just flat out make their announcements already.
