nice find lighthouse. I too as i said before am a bit pissed no origin. but it doesnt mean we wont have some origin stuff like it could be he is fresh to metropolis and/or just newly gone public as superman. Plus i think wb still has the rights to smallville life, so maybe they can use that bits for origin. And then if the legal stuff gets settled prior to filming maybe get more krypton stuff added, if not hopefully they could go more indepth in a sequel. Either way in the coming years the heirs will probably(hopefully) work out some dam deal with wb/dc.

Elmayimbe tends to do that. As far as I can tell no one seems to care as he comes from an ethnic background himself. I'm a pale white guy so I have no basis to judge, but he's always seemed to be an cool guy.

To be fair, Variety reporting it doesn't automatically make it legit. When Finke reported that Juan Antonio Bayona from the Orphanage was going to direct Twilight: Eclipse, Varitey reported it as well. Turned out to be total BS.

Its ok, you can breath and let the news fall over you. It's really happening.

What does WB expect? They sit around on their asses and never announce anything. It takes websites like LR for us to find out what's going on.

Maybe they should stop with "in the coming months we have announcements" BS and just flat out make their announcements already.

Well WB has really blocked their leaks the past couple years, so they thought they had all their bases covered. They intentionally leaked the Nolan news and most likely hoped to follow it up in the next couple weeks with Goyer and Jonah news. It backfired which is why they are pissed. Now the doors have been blown off and they are not prepared.

david goyer is super talented (i mean batman begins, dark knight, blade 1 and 2...) sure hes had some misfires (blade 3, ghost rider) but cmon hes got talent. i have faith in him... plus no origin. a physical foe is the villan. its called MAN OF STEEL. its gonna be action packed. funny.... its like WB actually paid attention to my fan letters...

Considering that Goyer came up with the story for Begins and i consider it the best Batman movie, i trust him. I just think he needs a good writer for the script who'll also help him iron out any problems and cheesiness.

He didn't write Ghost Rider, unless you mean he's writing the sequel.

Scott Porter has been high on WB's list to play a superhero for the last several years according to my guys.

Chace Crawford and Michael Cassidy are also two names I would keep an eye on. Unless they go really established and look for mid 30's, but I think they will keep him young.

Actually yeah, we are working on it. M. Corleone who has been in this very thread created a new logo for the debut on IESB. They've actually been recording shows, and have four of them in the bag. I was on the first one. The interface is different on IESB and we've been struggling to adapt. Should be soon.

TMT will debut a new podcast soon there as well with a working title of Crashing Hollywood.

That is probably the best part of the news. I want to see more from the Superman mythos. Hell, i want to see a DC movieverse!
