Hi, those who have read the DOFP comics , I'm would like to know who are the villains in the storyline?

Is it just the Sentinels robots? Or the humans that create the sentinels robots?

Based on the villains in DOFP storyline , who might Peter Dinklage be playing?

The villains are Sentinels in the future and The Brotherhood in the past.

With Dinklage I think the popular guess is that he is Bolivar Trask, creator of the Sentinels.

You have to wonder If majority of film or at very least half the actully takes place In future.Alan CUmming will make it 8 actors from trilogy.Meanwhile we only have 4 actors from first
Class.Peter Dinklage's character will likely be In 1973 scenes.He's been called the anatagist of film.If this Is Trask or someone to fill the void It seems to make sense to have creater of sentinles as antaginost.We know from Bryan Singer they are also casting an actor for Nixon.Filming starts April 15 and yet nothing else on other returnes from First Class.The
Idea with news we have been getting that a majority of film could take place In 1973 Isn't logicil anymore.The Idea of all these vets would be back for only say 30 minutes of
screentime doesn't make sense.We don't know In which timeframe Omar Sy Is playing In yet.Plus Bryan's comments also hint at using mind switch from comics only It's going to be Xavier,and he may be trying to stop Magneto from creating event that leads to Sentinles.

There may still be new mutants or maybe a recasting for 1973 scenes.But's becoming clear any new mutants probally won't have big roles most likely.

Like I've been saying all along: I think this is really X4. Days Of Future Past is just its working title.

It will still be called X-Men;Days of future Past.But let's be honest this Is basiclly X4.At this point It's more likely to get more OT actors than more first Class actors.

Any other X-Men and Brotherhood members In 1973 part of film are going to be mostly In background.

There won't be need for WOlverine to time travel since there will be likely be enough of film set In future to give Hugh Jackman a decent amont of screentime.

The campagin for X4 Isn't needed.Days of future past Is basiclly X4.

If Matthew Vaughn is still around as the director of this movie, I wonder if he would feature the original cast more or keep all of his FC characters. This was supposed to be the sequel for First Class but now, with Nightcrawler possibly coming back and 7 actors from the original trilogy already confirmed to return, this is looking like a X-Men 4 movie. I'm not complaining, I'd take X4 and FC2 anytime. But I didn't think this is going to happen.

Jason Flemyng seemed pretty confident he was in the movie a few months ago and hes good friends with Vaughn. So I'm guessing yes. I'm sure this film has gone through changes with characters since the Director switch.

Bryan Singer has called this an Inbetweenequel.Hinting he sees DOFP as both prequel and sequel to his films but also taking Into account the X-men films he didn't make.Nightcrawler returning may be one of the correcting things he talked about.He may not have liked It that Nightcrawler just disappeared.

When he talks about multiple timeframes we are likely looking at these

1-Future-which Is alternate version of 2000's or present day with the sentinles unleashed on world
2:1973 part of film
3:New future at ending of film where some things are different after the time travel.No Sentinles and possibly Cyclops and Jean Grey are now alive

Now since Bryan talked to James Cameron about his time travel plans I could be wrong on 3.Cameron did time travel where the time travel helped create the future In the first place.

I hope if this is indeed X4. I hope this keep all the tradition that the original trilogy had, like a visual intro at the beginning, the Cerebro door, the simple credits (with the italic font), the look of the X-Mansion (for the future period).

I'm excited that I don't have to wait until 2016 for a X-Men 4 movie because next year, there will be a X-Men 4 movie.

It sounds like Fassbender had to drop out of one movie because it conflicted with this filming.

Sources say the actor rotation came about due to Fassbender's schedule conflict with his upcoming shoot in Montreal for X-Men: Days of Future Past. Gun has been pushed back several times and now is scheduled to begin filming in April.

The 4 returning actors from FC though were about 80% of that movie; the rest of the characters were pretty much garnish. Though I'd like to see Banshee back at least, their return doesn't really feel essential to me. I could easily see a straight First Class sequel set in the 70s with just the 4 core members back.

I think it's less about the numbers of actors and more about which actors are playing the main characters. That choice determines the whole perspective of the film. And whatever the way, the future scenes were never going to have just Professor X, Magneto and Wolverine in them.

Cant wait to have at least two new names to end all this mistery about only 4 FC actors confirmed

james could just be naming the big names from the original trilogy only who are returning, there will probably be some mutants from the 70s involved too, to who they will be... who knows

the CBM site has had two articles naming some foreign actors in the radar of Fox and Warner for their comic movies, and some of them are asian actors, so... what if one of them if for Sunfire?
