I don't know, I feel like its too early. We still have 2 X-Men movies are yet to be released.

But if they want to announce their plan for the next 3 years like MCU did with the Avengers, then go ahead.

Cyclops, Xavier, Forge, Beast, Moira & maybe even Storm are the kind of cameos I would like in a Marvel film. In a future Avengers film for eg it would be great seeing some of those guys along with the likes of Reed Richards. It's the organisational, representative, scientific & procurement of resources in the background kind of character who is a good fit for a crossover cameo.

That thing he said about DOFP potentially being the biggest and most ambitious supehero movie ever made gets me so excited. This is really shaping up to be Fox's answer to The Avengers, and after what we saw in that movie just imagine what Singer has up his sleeve for this one.

I see this movie being the most successful next year, with TASM 2 coming in second. I can't be sure about Cap 2 or GOTG yet.

Something about mixing mutants with aliens and/or other superheroes diminishes the struggle and lessens the tone of the series. The whole X-Men concept is a pretty cool sci-fi story ykno...even though they're connected in the comics, it's like mixing Star Trek and Star Wars.

For me, the only way I could see the X-Men fitting in MCU is unless Marvel Studios got the movie rights from FOX and then reboot the X-Men series. And after that they could easily include Wolverine in the roster of Avengers.

I also think if FOX's X-Men, Sony's rebooted Spider-Man series and FOX's rebooted Fantastic Four series managed to be included in the roster of MCU or The Avengers 3. X-Men/Wolverine/Storm/the whole X-Men team are gonna be the oldest established characters to appear in The Avengers movie. Thats another reason why I don't think they would fit in right away. The world of the X-Men series is just so different to the world of MCU and the X-Men already have a big history in the movies. They already encountered a lot of things unlike with the Amazing Spider-Man and the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot. It would be weird to suddenly see X-Men work with Nick Fury, Shield and the Avengers.

I couldn't agree more. And the same goes for those who say it would be too many characters as well. It would be a movie about WAR. There's no need for character development on an intimate level since all of these heroes would be fleshed out in their own films by that point. It'd be about taking down a major enemy and who doesn't enjoy a good battle film based in war?

And besides, not every X-Men would need to be in it. Just the core ones: Cyclops, Wolverine, Jean, Storm, Nightcrawler, Beast, Colossus and perhaps Ice Man. Put them alongside the following:

Fantastic Four (that's 4 heroes)
Avengers (Iron Man, Cap, Hulk, Thor, etc., roughly 4-5 core heroes)
Sam Fury (1 character)
Spider-Man (1 character

And you could add in several more and in terms of total character numbers, that's basically what we have now in Days Of Future Past!

It can be done. And get Whedon's ass to do it.

As excited as I am for this movie and storyline, I really hope that future films will give us, I just imagined a live action version of Xavier and Magneto in the Savage Land and nearly passed out from excitement.

It's possible. Singer hinted that Apocalypse may be in this movie.

For this movie, well if the reports are true about Dinklage being the main antagonist and he will not appear as a CGI character, then no. But I could see them teasing AoA at the end of the movie!

Current X-Men in the current MCU? I don't feel it. In many ways.

The focus now should be on sorting out and build up the X-Men movieverse. A universe already so established it would feel incredibly jarring and convoluted merging it with the MCU.

Just me though.

Don't get me wrong, it would be a dream come true if we had all the Marvel characters that ever excised on screen to be part of a shared universe, including the Avengers, the X-Men, Spider-Man, F4, Punisher and so on, but honestly, I'm not at all ********* if we don't see this happen anytime soon.

Besides, I kinda like that X-Men and Spider-Man have their own separate universes, because there already have dozens of characters on their own, dozens of stories to be explored. The Avengers is not the JLA, yes, pretty much everyone has been an Avenger at some point, but I'm glad we we're able to get Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America and Thor side by side, and throwing other characters in the mix like Spider-Man or Wolverine doesn't necessarily mean it will make it better.

For now I'm satisfied with the fact that both the X-Men and the Spider-Man movie universes are being explored unlike they ever had before, and even if they never bring them up in the official MCU, I won't mind... As long as they don't **** them up in their own thing, of course.

and that was vaughn anyways singer as a specific grounded darker tone he brings to his xmen films and dofp will be even darker
