How did she trick Azazel? I haven't seen the movie in a while and I forgot she did that.

She morphs into Shaw and distracts Azazel, just as he is about to kill Beast. Then, Beast uses the opportunity to take out Azazel.



I expect Magneto will have trained Raven in the 11 years that pass between films, so she'll be a more formidable opponent when we see her in Days of Future Past.

Considering *that* Magneto is being played by Fassbender, I doubt they would voluntarily take him out of these films.

no matter how old ian is they will still find ways to add him and im guessing he will be more then willing to return

Ian/Magneto will have appeared on four movies; not counting Michael's two movies. So its about time, mr. Singer!

Even if they kill Magneto in DOFP, I think they will still bring him in some form in the future. But I just hope after this movie, they give him and Professor X a break. At least with Wolverine, they could just include him in action scenes. But Magneto/ProfX will always play an important role and I don't think the other X-Men would really shine if those those two are in the movie.

If Magneto keeps appearing, the new villain on the movie wont shine as well as Magneto has done in previous movies.

Thats why Singer should accept that his time has come. You cant base a huge franchise like this on just one iconic villain.

He has to EXPAND the universe, its about time.

Starting with First Class, FOX was able to include new major villains. For the first four movies, the only major villains they had were Magneto (X1/X3) and Stryker (X2/XOW). With First Class we got Sebastian Shaw then in The Wolverine, its probably Shingen or Silver Samurai and in DOFP, Dinklage's character will be the main antagonist.

But I think they need to end this thing with Professor X/Magneto, they are like a couple who always go back and forth.

the thing with FC is that the hellfire was cool, but it wasnt as cool and complex than the comics, and part of the reason is because Magneto was around there too.

A movie JUST with the epic hellfire club as the villain would be intense and dangerous, but sadly that wont happen anymore. not on this series, and after Fc.

oh, and the same can be said about Phoenix on X3. If dark Phoenix would have been the only big threat of the movie, it would have been huge and really epic. But again, Magneto was involved and lead to less scenes for Phoenix.

This Magneto thing is starting to hurt the franchise. Some fans wont agree, but there you have my two solid arguments. some will accept them, some wont. But this is how it is.

magneto has had a big part of all the films apart from origin, and he is a popular character same as wolverine, but while wolverine has his own spin off series magneto doesn't so he will be in Xmen movies for as long as they can fit him in

Magneto was the villian in movies, but i don't see how thats hurting anything, he wasn't the reason why the phoenix was done badly and he didn't ruin strikers character in X2

think you have a weak arguement there when wolverine is probably the character forced into being everything in the films

Yes, absolutely.

I don't mind if Magneto comes back in the eventual reboot but it's time the franchise explored other stories and villains.

Well they didn't include Magneto in Origins/The Wolverine so there's hope.

yeah thats because wolverine can hold up a movie for himself, but you notice the only other spin off FOX were interested in was magneto and that was made into first class which depended alot on magneto, so he won't be dropped any time soon

i think we will have magneto and wolverine both in future Xmen films if they are set in the future of course, but as for thinking if we lose magneto and keep wolverine it means more screen time for others... whaattt??? have you been watching the same Xmen movies i have?
