With a 1980's setting and according to official timeline of events of Origins with gambit being set In 1987 Gambit could easily be In Apocalypse. All you have to see as part of changes he was never captured by Weapon X.

With the number of sequels, prequels and inbetweenquels, this series will soon have the worst continuity of any series ever. :woot: I don't care about continuity myself though as long as they're all good films. Just watched 1st Class again & what an awesome film it is.

They could release a dozen of prequels/sequels and inbetweenquels and still maintain a good continuity. In my opinion, its always up to the film-makers whether they want to do another retcon and continuity error that will easily be noticed by the fans. Also, good planning works.

Watch them be renamed to trolololo

Too late isn't it? :woot: None of this was planned out until recently as they were going from film to film. It's only now that they seem to be thinking more than one film ahead at a time and having some kind of vision for the overall franchise. X3 is what started the mess with a host of possible continuity traps making present and future films with the main X-Men difficult and then using guys like Havok back in the 60s in FC is kind of unfixable now.

I think they might have good intentions on the continuity front now that they seem to actually want the franchise (post Avengers) and have some confidence in it but the series needed good intentions throughout to maintain a continuity that will make sense in the long run. I would rather the eventual reboot, even if it comes in 50 years time (I'm eating my vegetables right now so I make it ) can feature all the main X-Men in the same time period at roughly the right age. But anyway I'll enjoy the great films put out now too and I'm not going to worry about continuity on these ones as they obviously haven't been worried about it.

So could the US premiere be in LA. Seriously considering going to Hollywood and checking out the premiere. Anyone else?

^ Thanks!

If all this talk of the next X-Men gets you crazy with anticipation, you should know that the World Premiere will take place in Hollywood on May19, 2014. Your passport to exciting, VIP Concierge, has tickets to not only the movie premiere, we also have passes to the highly coveted after-party which will certainly be something to behold. You could expect a lot of wait staff in costumes and perhaps even a dystopian makeover for the venue. It’s guaranteed to be a spectacular spectacle. Don’t wait until the inevitable blockbuster opens in wide release. Enjoy “Days of Future Past” at its world premiere in the distinctly non-dystopian present of Los Angeles. - See more at: http://www.thevipconcierge.com/VIPE...r-party-VIP-tickets.aspx#sthash.dO6XeWAp.dpuf

Anyone? :)

I've never been to any premiere. Certainly not to any movie after-parties. Anyone know how much tix would be?

I don't know how much the tix is.

But from what I know, people (mostly with connections) get invites to attend movie premieres for free. The others get it for free if they joined a online contest.

http://www.lovebscott.com/news/hall...-halle-reportedly-cut-majority-new-x-men-film

A source who was on the set of X Men: Days of Future Past, tells New York Daily News that Halle’s character “Storm” was cut out of every scene but one in post-production. Initially, her role was reduced due to her pregnancy — but it ended up being much more of a cut than they originally planned.
“She only has one line in the whole movie,” our source says. “They’re not telling her until the movie comes out.”

Rogue was first, now Storm. Who's next?:whatever: I sincerely hope this isn't true at all.

If the source was "on set" how does he or she know what happened in the editing suite

The problem is that people (outside the forums) are believing this and it's giving very bad press to the movie. For the general audience it's looking like the movie it's falling apart.

These are the affects of waiting to long to release the trailer, we only have romours

I think they must do a statement

A big premiereIs already something FC didn't get.

My guess they won't have press screening till early may since they had press screening In march for winter soldier before the premiere.

Twitter Is picking up on the tabloid report of halle cut from DOFP.

Lol on this site, people WANT DOFP to be bad so they believe all bad rumors .
