Bryan Singer has sent out a tweet saying he is recordin commantary on deleted scenes for DVD of DOFP.

That may be mistake on his part and they will only be on blu-ray

here is photo he posted link

Looks like image Is from the deleted part of mystique at mansion that was suspose to be going on during the rogue sub-plot rescue.

Was the scene with Erik and Mystique in the subway in the original script or was that scene part of the reshoots to replace the scene with Raven going back to the mansion and corrupting Cerebro?

I'm pretty sure that's quicksilver's house, the whole "I'm a princess" scene.

Nope. We saw a glimpse of that scene in one of the Instagram teasers in January. The reshoots happened in February.

I feel like there wasn't even a set script , almost like they were adding scenes on as they went. Doesn't matter the final product is well pieced together.

I can't wait to hear his commentary about the deleted scenes!

Just FYI. As of now DOFP is the highest grossing film of the year. Though it will no doubt be bested by Transformers I just thought we should celebrate now before the inevitable happens. I've got the chips and dip!

Wow the highest grossing film of the year!

And I just found out like last night that despite not being in the top 10 grossing Marvel films in North America, its #7 worldwide! after the films that featured Spider-Man and Iron Man.

X-Men is still one of the big leagues when it comes to Marvel films.

Woooooo! Partaaaay!!!!

Awesome news, and absolutely deserved. Hopefully this wakes Marvel and FOX up to strike a merchandising deal for Apoc

Were there? Can't say I even noticed turrets, but I guess that makes sense

Huh, I guess that's a holdover from when they were planning to have ground troops fighting with the Sentinels.

I suppose that backs up the "worst of humanity" side of the plot

I'm getting really annoyed with people claiming that the original movies are now "non-canon". I don't think these guys know what canon means.

Everything in the old films happened. If they didn't happen, the events leading up to Wolverine going back in time wouldn't have happened.

So what happens? X-Men 1-3 happens, and then The Wolverine happened. After The Wolverine, Logan is sent back in time. Then the events of Days of Future Past occurs, and the future is successfully changed. Wolverine, from the original movies, successfully lives in the new future, still with the knowledge of everything that happened in the old timeline. Think of it like the new Star Trek films; everything in the old series happened, but time-travel leads to a new reality, with certain characters crossing over retaining their knowledge from the old series (Spock, Wolverine).

The only thing I'm wondering right now is, what is the status of Wolverine after he is fished up from the lake? Based on the ending of DoFP, Logan's old-timeline consciousness doesn't enter his new timeline body until the new timeline 2023 (when he wakes up at the school).

So, when Wolverine is brought up from the lake, does he just not know anything that occurred?

The past-Wolverine remembers nothing between going to bed with that woman and being pulled from the river.

Okay, that's what I thought too. So it looks like in the next movie we're still going to deal with a Wolverine with lost memory, haha.

Also, the 50 year life old Wolverine has between being fished up in Days of Future Past until 2023 will be "killed", and replaced with the old timeline Wolverine's consciousness...it's kind of sad when you think about it.

Well, the past Wolverine is only missing that small period of time. He then lives on into the altered future, but then his mind is replaced by the Wolverine who wakes up.

What we will see is some of those undocumented 50 years from 1973 to the altered 2023.

Star Trek Isn't best compession. They hope most will forget about past trek so they don't notice things don't add up with preRomulans messing with timeline.

Ok the trilogy and the Wolverine lead up to the future with Sentinles but once wolverine wakes at end of film they are erased. They no longer happened.

Yeah wolverine still has memory of films we saw but it remains to be seen If we will ever see the new future again. The plan could be simply to do First Class sequels+Spin-offs around their era.

Wolverine in both Apocalypse & new Wolverine film may simply be the past wolverine who knows nothing about past X films.

Xavier from having to read wolverine's mind may have some knowledge about the non-FC films but who knows if that will be used In Apocalypse.

If X-Men;Apocalypse turns out like Star Trek:Into Darkness let's some some fans of X-Men films may hold DOFP in less regard although Bryan Singer is unlikely to try to turn X-Men into something else than J.J. Abrams did with Star Trek. The fact he started the films In first place also helps avoid that problem but that could be as wrong as the assumination he wouldn't erase his own films and he did that.

DOFP Is a "Reboot" of X-Men series the difference here Is 1:It's caused by time travel rather than just starting over 2:First Class remains In contunity 3:They want original cast to have a bit of relevence thus the ending of DOFP even through most of what we have seen the original cast In has now been erased 4:They are keeping Hugh jackman as Wolverine

Wolverine essentially remembers everything from the when he heals from that horrible adamantium bullet in Origins, X1-X3, The Wolverine and all the events in DOFP. The only thing he doesn't know of is the altered history created by Mystique choosing to drop that gun

You're missing the point. X1-The Wolverine still happened. We don't get to DOFP without X1-X3 happening.

Although he remembered the girl he woke up with in DOFP ("I slept with her many times.."). But as with The Wolverine, we know he has flashes of memories, so I guess the boss' daughter was pretty memorable. :oldrazz:

X-Men-The wolverine happened to lead up the future of DOFP and wolverine
mission to past. His influence causes those films to be erased from contunity when he wakes up In new future.

If we ever follow up In new future then yes you would still have the mind of
the wolverine from Trilogy/The wolverine but it's question mark if you see that
wolverine again. The next wolverine solo film may be solo story In past post what
happens In Apocalypse.

Going forword into Apocalypse and other films these are only things that still
count in Contunity

Post credit scene of DOFP

The events of First Class

the 1973 parts of DOFp from wolverine waking up In bed to ending with Mystique disguied as stryker finds wolverine

the new future wolverine wakes up In

You could also count the WWII flashback of The Wolverine If you want to get
technical.

It remains to be seen If anything in future will come close to what went down
as we saw it in Trilogy. It appears the only thing they have to lineup with in future Is ending of DOFP.

From what was said in film the mind of wolverine In new future is all that remains of the non-FC films. The post-Apocalyptic future with sentinles Is gone as Is the "bad" X-men films Origins and Last stand but the "Good" X-Men films save for First Class and DOFP Itself are gone too.

When DOFP starts it Is 7th X-Men film but by end of film It becomes 2rd X-Men film.

The next Terminator film will start off as 5th film but by end of film it will be only film In Contunity.

The next Trek film untill title Is called trek 3 not trek 13.
