She is awesome! I think if Bryan Singer introduces her as an important character, he would nail her! Personality-wise, she's like Wolverine so I think it might appeal to Singer.

Finally watched this on itunes. I really enjoyed it, though I was disappointed that the 70s sentinels were taken out so easily - I really liked their design and hoped to see them kick a lot of ass.

One thing that I was really pleased by (even though it was extremely minor) was when Logan wakes up in the past and is shot by the goons, he actually reacted in a realistic way - in many of the x-films, Wolverine just shrugs off the wounds as they happen, despite his healing factor not limiting any of the pain. But in that scene, he was very obviously in a lot of pain when shot. I think handling his injuries like that makes the actual healing more dramatic.

He just woke up and his body was probably in the state of a hang-over. His older self and the girl he hooked up with looked really tired.

Has anyone recut the stadium lift scene with Henry Jackman's Magneto theme from X-Men: First Class? I'd love to see that.

That was the one thing missing from this movie.

That and Cyclops and seeing Wolverine fight sentinels with his adamantium claws. And since continuity-wise, we weren't going to see those two -- I can forgive that. But Henry Jackman's great score was available and wasted. And this is speaking as someone who things the score is great in this film. I could have just used some beats from that theme here and there.

So I just popped in my DOFP blu ray that I bought a few days ago and the disc is not working. Tried with some other movies and my player is working just fine, but for some reason it keeps telling me to "check disc" and then eject it.
Anyone else experiencing this issue? Do I need to update my software or something? This is pretty frustrating as I think I already threw away the receipt and I doubt I will get my money back.

Yep. My Blu-Ray won't play either because it's telling me that I need to update my Blu-Ray player.

I'm not exactly tech savvy so I haven't figured out how to do that yet...

I don't know how to update it either haha. We're in the same boat. Thanks for letting me know, I was worried I flushed $25 down the toilet. I'll figure out how to update it and let you know how I did it. I don't have an Internet connection so it might be tricky.

Speaking as someone that the Blu-ray actually works for ( ), I'm going to have to watch it yet again soon, but not for the reason you think... On Blu-ray, much of the time... the movie looked hideous. Seriously. The digitalness of the movie was just... ugh. It didn't look like that at all in the cinema.

As I said, I'll have to watch it again soon, because I love this movie and don't want it being negatively affected by this in my mind.

Guys... guys... I read the shooting script for DOFP today!!!

The Rogue scenes, an alternate ending, a different intro for the X-Men... It's... it's... SO AWESOME!!! I took some photos of some key plot pages, the original stinger makes me head spin as it was partially ommitted D:

The props were sweet too, saw the full Sentinel, Wolverine's costume and Cyclop's glasses

Will upload pics soon, but wanted to share my happy news

EDIT: Also there was originally a line about Xavier coming back to life

Just want to add that for all our complaints about Rogue, and her scenes are amazing, she has like 4 lines, and 2 of them are essentially "huh?". I was surprised.
