DC Animated - Superman/Batman: Public Enemies

She has a couple of cameos in the book; interviewing Luthor towards the start, and then at the end with Jimmy and Perry.

Lois isn't involved in the story, AT ALL

also, it's not like they adapt these movies panel to screen. they do make occasional changes. it's not far-fetched for them to increase lois' role in the movie.

well she could still have a small cameo thrown in at some point.

Well, government is trying to kill her husband....she could at least have an OMG WTF moment.

don't get me started on their "marriage" its too early in the day

Of course you don't like their marriage. I bet you hate the sun too.

Her role IS important. She interviews Luthor to able Superman and Batman to go to China undercover and uncover his real plans. It's a pretty good scene and she's a substancial part of Superman's life.

I never said I didn't like it, Im not a huge fan of it, my issue is that DC tends to forget about it sometime and only whips it out when it needs to build some cheap drama...seriously, what the **** is Lois even doing right now while Clark is ****ing off on New Krypton??

Good point. He should have took her with him...or better yet, not gone at all.

I'm not a big fan of Superman moving to New Krypton, but since I haven't read it, I can't talk about it.

I just don't get what DC is doing with Superman and this 'direction' he's going in

It does seem rather stupid. If theres anybody that should have gone to New Krypton to "keep an eye on them." It should have been Supergirl. She's got no attachments she could just up and ditch. Might have been good for the character. (Though I hear she's been doing pretty good anyway over the last year or so.)

Agreed. Mon-El is cool, but he can't replace Superman. I hope everything comes together by "Blackest Night".

wtf? there's a new krypton? since when? I haven't read a Superman comic since Doomsday killed him.

You should check out what's going on, lots of Kryptonians running around. Really points out the fact that Superman is special among them.

So, 67 minutes, huh? I'm really not surprised--if they were trying to cram New Frontier down to 75 minutes, they'll be stretching this one out. I remember as the single issues were coming out, I'd literally finish each one in 5 minutes. I'm actually glad this is on the shorter side--this movie needs to move fast and it'll lose it's accelerating pace if it's being padded out just to fill the 75-minute quota. They've shown through various TV episodes and these movies (New Frontier especially) how good they've become at being economical with their story material. I'll bet it was a nice change for the creators to actually have to elongate the material rather than compress it.

Plus, I imagine this movie was probably pretty hard on the budget, but I'm glad they're finally doing stories that fit within their restrictions!
