DC Animated - Superman/Batman: Public Enemies

I'm definitely hoping that Warner Bros./Bruce Timm decide to do the Supergirl arc as a sequel.

:csad:

I liked it... either way, it'll be better than Superman: Doomsday.

Let's hope not...that arc makes no damn sense...she shows up, Batman finds her...20 minutes later she's Darkseids' skank queen, then they have to fake her death, then she gets grounded on Themyscaira...

Yeah, some parts were a little convuluted and didnt make much sense, but hopefully the screenwriters can make sense of it all and improve on it.

I still vote no...if they are going to do another Superman/Batman DTV, id much rather see Absolute Power

I actually wouldnt mind that. Timm and co. have already done Supergirl and Darkseid stuff on STAS... Absolute Power would be something quite different.

I think Absolute Power would really **** with peoples heads...seeing the worlds two biggest heroes as tyrants

And killing Green Arrow! :wow::up:

I'd rather they do an Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters movie. Or if you want a cash grab, Batman and the Outsiders.

they should unshelve the Teen Titans: Judas Project and get that out

I cant see them doing a full length Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters movie. I just dont think it would do well sales-wise. They should try it as an animated short first, like Jonah Hex.

Of course they wont do an Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters. I just wish they did.

Like for you to suffer a horrific crotch wound. :o

wow....that's just mean, but if we're going down that road...I wish for a nice drawing of Hal Jordan ****ing Kyle Rayner in the ass while he's bent over a giant GL logo table

Okay. What ever gets your rocks off. I myself would like to see a tranny supergirl. :o

hmmmm...intriguing....really screw with the fans....she's gotta have a huge one though

Could probably split a speeding bullet train in two.

so is Superman there to govern the place?

No, Supergirl's mother is in charge. You should read it, I think its great. Then again it has minimal Superman and lots of Mon-el and supergirl so I'm predisposed to adore it.

Well the last part didn't happen but what didn't you understand? It seemed very simple to me, it wasn't exactly Grant Morrison

Nice avvy 04nbod.

I am über glad that they used the cast of Conroy/Daly/Brown for this. I'm really really glad, I think it is a brilliant idea, and I think it will give good to the movie.
I thought I would enjoy adaptations but in fact I am not. I have liked most of the movies like Wonderwoman or GL but the strict adaptations were really disappointing for me. And the fact that they use a design close to the original art, was fun at the beginning but in the end, I do not like it. If I want to see McGuiness art, I'll check my book. I would have preferred the style of the JLU. Just to translate the stories inside this universe. I think it would be better. The fact that Conroy/Daly/Brown are doing the voices again is a huge step in the right direction for me. They established the characters in a brilliant way, and I think that is what will work the best in "public ennemies". Great cast, great idea.

but this story isn't taking place inside that universe...I listened to an interview where they talked about when they do an adaptation of story, about wanting to mimic, or get close, to whatever art style was used in that story...i think that's a great idea

Why did'nt they do that for Superman: Doomsday then?
