May be obvious but I would go with Robert Redford as Ozymandias and Leonard Nimoy as Dr. Manhattan. For a more atypical choice, Alan Alda as Dan (while especially in '09 he could have played and done well as Hollis Mason).

I never would have thought of Alan Alda as Dan , but I could see it in the 70s or 80s.
