DC FanDome Thread

I have to admit from a Superman fan perspective I'm utterly disappointed tonight. I feel like WB teased us with all the Superman stuff leading up and then they've pulled the rug out from under us,

Also from the tease in the trailers of "THE BIGGEST ANNOUNCEMENTS", there's been nothing groundbreaking at all.

The best stuff has been the trailers, the Squad sneak peek and Black Adam segment.

If the song accompanying the leaked trailer is real,
then I never expected to hear a Nirvana song in a Batman trailer. Also using Something in The Way is really going to fuel those emo comments.

I just watched the Snyder cut trailer. Beyond it being utterly ridiculous and hilarious, my favorite thing about it is how much of a liar it makes Snyder look. Well that and the complete lack of color. :funny:

Take a look at his devastating tweet lmao

This panel is stupid, they really could have shortened today down easily.

I don;t think Fandome so far has lived up to what the trailers said about "the Biggest Announcements"

Is that because their was no Superman announcements?

We got WW84 trailer (first look at Cheetah in action), Gotham Knights announcement trailer (and gameplay), the multiverse confirmed for the Flash and the DCEU moving forward, Milestone coming back and. Static film confirmed, Suicide Squad first look and character confirmations, Snyder cut trailer, Black Adam first look and JSA members announced, Suicide Squad game trailer and gameplay (?), and The Batman trailer... I’d say it was a good event!! I’m grateful, hopefully this becomes an annual thing

New movies being announced always felt like wishful thinking. WB will wait and see how this current batch turns out before moving forward. They're reactionary. That's how they operate

tbh after the lack of Momoa and just the vague 2022 remark I'm not even sure that is happening + since The Batman feat. Zoe is outside of the rest that means no Gotham City Sirens soon so I actually feel like we are getting less movies than before the event lol

How weird is it that Mamoa wasn't there? I cannot get my head around that. Isn't there a Q&A in 3 weeks for Aquaman? Wonder if he's gonna be on that.

I just feel really underwhelmed about the whole thing, they teased "THE BIGGEST ANNOUNCEMENTS" but we've had nothing earth shattering.

The Fandome will be a bigger deal in a year when the virus is no longer holding things back and big new film announcements are possible. It was still really fun for me and I think it will get much better every year.
They are kind of dumping a bunch of stuff here that is a ways off though, aren't they?

Cheetah really does look iffy but great trailer though!

Those squishing noises when Batman beats down that gang member. I really bet this movie is going to be rated R.

Yeah, but not sure what else they can commit to with the virus still raging. It will be different in future years hopefully, but the event at least suggests a lot of promise to me.

Partly but mostly cause there;s been nothing earth shattering, I thought we'd get Hawkman casting but nothing, just confirmation he's appearing long with the other JSAers which we knew of already. Didn't even get told Affleck & Keaton in the Flash, just teased.

Trailers and First looks are not announcements.

Suicide Squad game now.

They going to do this instead of Comic-Con? Because this is just their Comic-Con presentation, right?

Not sure what to think about this game. Another evil Superman?

I don't know actually - I hadn't thought about that, haha.

Looks a bit weird seeing King Shark with a gun. I would expect him to be the brawler of the group.

I don't really mind in a Suicide Squad game. But I do want a proper Superman game one day.
