Also people who think Haruhi-tan is onegai kawaiiso-desuuuuuuuuu ugyu~

ano, gomenosai~

So basically it's Ultimate DC. Why not call the spade a spade?
It's not really Ultimate DC, though. Marvel at least had the sense to not wipe out all of their original comics when they introduced their Ultimate counterparts...

Not a very good pic. Flash especially looks awkward. Lee must of did that in a hurry.

People so sick of retconny characterkilly superhero comics that they will literally read comics backwards if that's what it takes to get twelve issues' worth of story without some idiot doing a massive 40-series alternate-universe crossover and then resetting the universe.
Well played sir!

So, like, only 2 weeks of work instead of his customary 4? ;)
No, it looks more like he took 8 weeks here, giving the flash seams, over the top flashes on his suit, over the top flashes on his ears, and a chin cover.

My god does Barry look like a dork!

I'd read Manga if I didn't find most of their s**t so damn boring and weird.

Wish they'd just do the finite story thing with American Comics. Supes should be old, Lois should have died of old age, and we should be on our 5th Batman by now.

isnt that something? he's drawing the picture that will be the face of this "historic" moment, and he rushes it.

but honestly, i dont think he rushed it. i think its just impossible to make those outfits look good. also, i was never impressed by lee anyways. totally overrated.

Nah, I think he rushed. Look at Superman. That's just... wow. That's like Tony-Daniel-desperately-trying-to-be-Jim-Lee bad.

The focus of this piece was definitely Wonder Woman, Batman and Aquaman. Everything looks rather pale in comparison.

Cyborg looks like a mess.

Seriously. What's up with all those damn Fins?

So does Cyborg have only one arm there? And why would he be exposing his few fleshy parts? I'm being pedantic arent i?
Seriously. What's up with all those damn Fins?
You cant put seams on a cyborg, so what do you do? FINS, FINS EVERYWHERE.

Cyborg looks so terrible in that pic and so forced.

See this is the kind of ******s DC is catering to.

As if in 5 years from now the comics wont be bogged down by some continuity. You just had to pic up "Batman: The Return" and wiki what happened before it. Same for every other comic book.
Bull*****. Those are the "fans" I'm talking about. Like you said, they could just go to a Wiki and fill in the spaces and go read Batman: The Return, like you said again. Seriously, it's not that hard. -_-

Wait does that mean.... OH GOD DAMN IT!!!!

Yup, I guess it's bye-bye Damian. I am very angered and saddened by this. C'mon, being Robin was the best thing Damian ever did! Then you're just gonna throw it away? -_-

Psst, not reading the right stuff. Don't worry, when the timeless time comes I will lead you. I will lead all my people.

I actually think that was Kirby's intention back when he did the New Gods, but I think DC wanted to keep them going and not see any conclusion. I think he kind of saw that coming, at least to some degree or another.

Unless this thing happens to actually be really good and impress us all, I'm seeing a huge crossover event retconning this and returning everything back to normal in a year or two...

I love run on sentences...

Seems like you like comma splices a bit more...

Actually, I believe (and feel free to correct me, for I may certainly be mistaken) that because the first part of his statement is dependent on the second it doesn't qualify as a comma splice.

Wasn't that the only thing he ever did?

Oh, yeah, I guess that would be right. But then it wouldn't be a run-on either, right? Man, I hate grammar. Almost as much as speling.

It's not really a run-on either (though again, I welcome anyone to correct me if my understanding is flawed); it's just not the best way to write that particular sentence. An easier-reading way to write it would be as "I'm seeing a huge crossover event retconning this and returning everything back to normal in a year or two--unless this happens to be really good."

Yeah, I see that. Never thought I'd get an urge to read The Elements of Style posting on the Hype.
