Thats what I've gathered. At least Crisis had some build up to a major shake up. This though is almost like getting told to move out without having time to pack up your things.
The weird part is how for an event that will supposedly radically alter their Universe DC has carefully structured Flashpoint as a stand alone entity with all the tie ins being mini-series that won't require readers of the main titles to pick them up. I mean the only ongoing tying into it is Booster Gold for christ sakes. Its just weird since DC and Marvel are usually so pushy with crossovers and imposing the story on almost every book they have. Why would they make an event with major ramifications feel so optional?
