personally i like jl/jlu over brave and the bold, its a decent show though still aimed more for the younger kids and more happy and flashier.

Same here, JLU was definitely more complex and serious than B & B (so far anyway), and I liked that, but as far as being close to the comics goes, B & B, IMO, is the best to date. I love that show. :D

Now, we need a solo Flash animated movie.

Amen ta that! They could do like Gotham Kinight did and feature 6-7 segments: 1 set in the 40s with Jay Garrick, 3 with Barry Allen, 2 with Wally West, and 1 with Wally and Bart Allen. :D

That said, I want to see The Flash (Barry) and Kid Flash (Wally West) in animation together. :)

yea i think black gloves with green ring stands out better then white glove and green ring.

I'm really looking forward to this. Wonder Woman in March and Green Lantern in late summer or fall makes for a great line-up for this year's DTV releases.

Superman/Batman: Public Enemies is next after Green Lantern, and then it looks like it'll be another Batman solo title (although what exactly it'll be isn't known yet).

Batman: The Brave and the Bold has been doing a great job with the GLC. Hopefully the DTV and live action feature will lead to a GL animated series.

well if the animated movie and the live action film do well they will likely cash in on the character with a solo animated series.

Superman/Batman: Public Enemies will be made?

Cool! :woot:

And i think Green Lantern will be a origin story about Hal Jordan.

Even thought I'm not the biggest fan of his, it should be interesting to see Ed McGuinness' art style on Superman/Batman: Public Enemies.

And, though it's small, that pic of the GL movie looks fantastic!

the art style for green lantern is definitely looking good. I still hope to god that they do a GLC movie rather an origin story because 1) Hal origin is coming up anyway and 2) the GLC has been featured in most animated features without needing any previous knowledge and has proven to remain popular.

I can't wait for this movie. As mentioned already..I really hope this isn't done with the animation style of The Brave And The Bold. I can appreciate the throw back style of TBATB, but would rather see a style similar to JLU.

If they see a good response from the sales of the video, you never know. I myself am begining to think that they chose that design to establish a continuity with the DCAU (i.e. BTAS, STAS, JL, & JLU). Note that these were more adult themed as opposed to the other series which was geared more for the younger crowd.

As reported by World's Finest, Warners has announced the full title:

Green Lantern: First Flight

So it's obviously going to be Hal Jordan's origin story.

well maybe it will have the glc too for parts of the film.

I don't think you can have the film without it. I mean he has to be trained so I think we may get at least a brief few of the Corps when he travels to Oa

I think having an origin GL DTV film right before you have a GL origin film is a bit disappointing, personally.

I would of preferred a GL DTV movie that told a different story.

A week from Friday, 2/27, WonderCon, SF. WW animated movie premiere with GL speak peak: I'm there! Just booked tickets for two friends and myself, maybe I'll see some of you there too. However, what I'd enjoy even more is some real juicy info on the LIVE ACTION GL film comin' up....
