Got 4 of the DCUC series 5 figures today, Black Lightning, Amazo, Atom, and Eradicator. Not going to review each individual figure but am just going to talk about the paint and joints as a whole, as each figure pretty much have the same pros and cons when it comes to these.
Paint: The paint in this series is excellent, and is possibly the best so far out of any of the DCUC series. All of the lines are cleanly painted, and there is barely any misplaced paint on the figures, with the exception of a small yellow dot on Black Lightning's shoulder.
Joints: Unfortunately, while the paint in this series is excellent, the joints on each of the figures brings down the quality of this wave. Each figure has at least one joint that is stuck, and there is no way to unstick the joint without risking breaking the figure. Black Lightning has one leg that is stuck, while both legs on each of the other 3 figures are stuck. Thankfully, all 4 figures legs are in postions that they can still stand without falling over.
Also, Eradicator's cape is significantly harder than the capes of other previous figures.
