Not sure if this has been mentioned or not, but there will be a mini Atom figure included with Gentleman Ghost in DCUC series 8 in addition to whatever Giganta piece Ghost comes with. The Atom figure is going to be less than an inch tall and will not be articulated.

I'm not afraid to admit I'm a modern comic fan. I have a certain amount of...disliking for older costume designs like that 2-pack. They're just silly. Let's strike fear into the hearts of evil doers or good guys alike with BOOT CUFFS AND CRASH HELMETS!!!

Not to mention the goatee... Is everyone in the Anti-Matter completely without a sense of, I don't know, fashion?

Geeze, it's not just the anti-matter universe. Look at Marvel or DC from the 80's and earlier for some really terrible looking characters and costumes. Luke Cage in a Tiara with a Jennifer Lopez cleavage disco shirt? Oooo...intimidating. Looks like a power lifting cross dresser.

You are looking at things from a current perspective. That was stuff from the 80's. You don't see people dressing like they did in the 80's cause times change. I think though you should have respect for the character development over the years. Most superheroes didn't start of as cool looking as they are now. Over the years there are tweaks to make them current, but there should be a sense of respect for the work the artist and writers did decades ago.... Sorry just my opinion

I was in Atlanta Monday, and I was determined to continue my Aquaman collection. I decided I wouldn't leave A-town until I had Ocean Warrior Aquaman in my hands.


After 3 Targets, Two Toys R Us's, and 2 Wal-Mart's, I admitted defeat.

I failed

One Wal-Mart had a Mr. Miracle, Hawkman, and Dr. Impossible. The rest had Harley Quinn or Electric Superman.

Neither TRU had a SINGLE DCUC figure, although they had around 6.7 million power rangers and those dinky little new Marvel Toys.

It was a sad day for me...

Yea, Atlanta has mainly Harley Quinn and Electric Superman now. There's the occasional Wonder Woman or something, but those are mostly from like Wave 4 or something. Oh, has anybody found Wave 3 Green Lantern and Sinestro in stores? If so, where?

Don't worry man, I'm no quitter, I'm hitting up Wal-Mart, Target,and TRU here in SC today.
We'll see what happens. I'm running low on cashola though. Dunno if I'll be able to afford all three now.

A local hobby store in Kitchener, ON Canada, that I NEVER check got a shipment of DCU figures! They had Batman, WW and GL. They were also the reissues or whatever that do not come with a BAF piece, but come with a stand instead. So I picked up GL since I've never found wave 3. I'm very happy with him. The others in that wave that they didn't have there are Robin, Firestorm and Captain Marvel. Just if anyone was interested in knowing.

My buddy snagged an Ocean Warrior Aquaman for me at Wal-Mart yesterday.


So now I just need Beetle and Booster.


(Aquaman looks great, excellent paint work, the skin tones are much better than they were on the regular Aquaman I have, and all the pieces are put on correctly ((unlike my Black Manta with two left hands )))

I'm also now another step closer to finishing Grundy. Just need Hal and Sinestro for his legs. I'm not exactly partial to either character, so I'm not above simply ordering the legs on eBay if I can find them there.

one of my favorites so far in the line. Excellent sculpting, paint work, and the goggles rock, just like in the comics.

Do you like the choice? I've been meh either way since I found out a few weeks ago.


I don't like how they only made 3 ANTI-Monitors and they are ****ing raffling them.
