Now this show is going balls deep into humor I think it's better than ever. They need to lean even harder into the humor and just make this a straight up comedy.

I'm glad Amaya is gone. She served her purpose and there's no where else to take her story. I kind of wish Steel left the show too. I still feel Ray and Steel cancel each other out personality wise. One of them has to go, and i'd vote for Ray.

I'm still rooting for Booster Gold and Gypsy to become regulars on this show.

The Amaya actress has one more notch of acting ability than the Hawkgirl actress. Not a compliment.

Am I mistaken, or was Ceasar played by a different actor in this episode than the one he was before? You'd think the writers would have a seasonal plan, and that they'd have been able to cast the same guy (unless I am mistaken, and it was the same actor).

So apparently Amaya isn't leaving the show, she is returning next season...
Source? I was kind of hoping we'd seen the back of her.

I think I'd rather them ditch Nate if they had to get rid of one of them.

Rip's not dead... no body shown... they can easily have him return next season as someone displaced in time...

PRAISE BEEBO!!!! Dear ****ing God i almost died when he appeared....

'Worst. Orgy. Ever' 'Are we making a baby?' Give Purcell all the money and keep him on the show... dude is hilarious.

Whoops I meant Nate. He's been annoying me since he got his powers. He doesn't use his skills as a historian anymore, so his only input is the occasional muscle and out of character comic relief.

Sad thing is the actor has decent comedic delivery. He would have made a good Booster Gold.

I didn't mind her acting, but her relationship with Steel kinda weighed her down and limited her character imo.

That Hawkgirl was TRASH. I want Hawkgirl back but they have to recast. Argh she was awful.

That's unfortunate!

I don't mind Amaya returning but I would have preferred Rip to have returned.

However, Rip was given a good farewell. Hopefully now that Legends is going into the fantasy stuff we will get the chance to see Rip with his family again, in the afterlife.

The Beebo vs Mallus battle at the end was an excellent surprise. Very creative and suitable for a show primarily geared for comic book fans.

And since Legends really is a show for comic book fans, perhaps they could reduce the romance in season four.

I thought the Caesar actor was different too. I'm pretty sure it's not the same guy.

How has 5 years elapsed for Jax? How does Legends fit in with the rest of the Arrowverse timeline then? 5 years haven't elapsed for anyone else. It's still 2018.

IMDB says that Simon Merrells played Julius Caesar in both episodes in Legends Of Tomorrow. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0581163/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t22

I don't know if that's correct. The actor in that entry is the one from the first episode but not sure about this episode.

I just rewatched episode 1 of season 3 last week and Caesar also had a different voice to this actor here in episode 18 and a stronger presence. He also looked different. The one in this episode reminded me more of the actor playing Blackbeard, except that he didn't have a beard. I even wondered if it was the same actor playing two roles.

Maybe they kept Caesar's helmet on to disguise the fact it was someone different.

Yes indeed! Dominic Purcell is consistently one of the real MVPs of this show as Mick Rory. :woot:

At first I was like "did they really get the rights for Voltron?" and the truth was much worse in the best way possible

The opening credits of this episode list a “Jason Merrells.” And according to the Interwebz, Jason is the younger brother of Simon.

So it wasn't him after all. I didn't think it was the same guy because the original one had more of a presence and authoritative air about him and sounded different. Maybe they just got his younger brother because they thought he might look similar enough, but needed to disguise that too.

Although Jason Merrells seems to be 49 according to Wikipedia, so I don't know why he shouldn't seem that authoritative. But he doesn't have quite the same look as his brother. Definitely not as much of a Roman general look as Simon but somewhat softer:

I wonder why they couldn't get the original actor back. Was he working on something else?

It's not that I mind the character, or actress, it's the whole concept that she needs to return home that they play several times through the last two seasons. They keep on promoting the fact that she can't stick around, but they never let her actually go home (long-term). They keep finding a way of bringing her back!

I thought the Caesar actor was different too. I'm pretty sure it's not the same guy.

imdb is wrong. The guy who played Ceasar initially was the same actor who portrayed Markus Crassus in the Spartacus show on STARS; he has a very notable voice and face - at least for me, because I recognised him straight away as Ceasar. It can't of been the same actor in the final.

I guess it's subjective and time works if/when it's needed. It's been shown that the crew can have real-time interactions with anyone else from any point in the timeline (Martin and his daughter for example). I guess we'll never quite know why Ava recalled Jax from a five-year-after period.

And since Legends really is a show for comic book fans, perhaps they could reduce the romance in season four.
Considering the actress playing Ava has been promoted to a series regular, I expect not. It's quite likely that the Sara-Ava relationship will replace the Kendra-Carter of Season 1, and the Amaya-Nate of Seasons 2 & 3.

At first I was like "did they really get the rights for Voltron?" and the truth was much worse in the best way possible

Finally watched the whole episode and got the Voltron reference, which was great. The five of them combining into Beebo...even better than seeing Voltron.

Don't scare me! LOL

Oh man, this was so much fun. This episode reminded me why I love LoT so much.

The final battle was kinda underwhelming. I mean it was cool to see a giant Beebo but the fight wasn't impressive and it totally undermined Mallus as a physical threat. But everything that came before it was so awesome. The highlights for me were Helen of Troy, Hex & Zari's convenient but cute romance & the scenes with Ray & Damien. They make a great pairing.
