The Phantom Stranger can't be Judas, Judas is already Dracula from Dracula 2000. Duh.

But see that is fine. Especially because he isn't heroic (say for Demon Knights) but bottom line is, Judas did THE DEED. I don't have to elaborate.
That's a pretty cool origin. When was that official? I don't remember reading that.
No way, a concept by Alan Moore sounds better than one by Dan DiDio? I am shocked.Shortly after the beginning of the post-crisis continuity; Alan Moore wrote it.

Crazy giraffe gods and a lovable family sum up why I loved Lemire's early Animal Man. I'll keep reading so long as he remembers this.
Most of the zero issues have served no purpose. This is, surprisingly, one of the better ones - but it should have come earlier in the series. If this had been the first issue, or a second issue, it would have worked much better, and the series would be stronger for it.Demon Knights 0 was a perfectly solid issue, except that it really served no purpose. We got some nice background for both Jason and Etrigan but really this issue was an un-needed stall in the middle of a cliff hanger.

It's not like DC threw this at the writers three days before August ended and yelled "SURPRISE! Zero month, *****es!"But to be fair Milligan had the advantage of his zero issue not coming in the middle of a story arc
So there wasn't the same feeling of it interrupting a story that there was with some of the others
