Some interesting speculation regarding another set pic. Wouldn't put it out of the question for Ryan to try and redeem Schreibertooth. But probably not in this film.

Still filming, as per twitter.

Same location as before: Riverview Hospital, "compound" where Reynolds took that pic with the Minister of Defense and of the overturned school bus. (Fun Fact: Riverview Hospital is now closed but it used to be a mental hospital. It is also said to be haunted.)

This time, the location stands for: Ulster County New York.

Double Negative and Framestore are handling the visual effects on the sequel.
I hope the CGI will be on par with the original.

TJ and Karan were on set a lot longer this go around. Granted, this is a much bigger movie to begin with, but I'm wondering what roles Dopinder and Weasel will play within the overall picture. Would be funny if they had their own little subplot trying to help DP, Cable and Dom.

Yeah, I think they'll both have a bigger role in the sequel. But as you've said, the filming schedule is twice as the one for the original.

I really hope the marketing will kicks off soon (the one for "The Predator," which is being released in August, should start in December according to Shane Black). Can't wait for a teaser poster and trailer.

Yeah, Fox should be having their 2018 showcases soon, and if Deadpool and New Mutants are good, then Fox will probably be showing off those films at those events. They showed off Alien, Logan and Cure for Wellness footage in December 2017 iirc.

Ryan's pic with Julian is interesting too. Seems like our budding X-Force crew will be working to save another child this go around!

True. Looking back at the first film, it's still amazing how good it looks for it's budget, and chances are this will follow suit.

Tim Miller and Blur played a huge role in that though. Lots of people working out of their own pocket and looking for any way to cut corners.

It's a completely different situation now. I don't see Fox denying them money if they need it.
