Not sure how accurate this is. Apparently Jack Kesy's role was cut from the film. And I'm not sure how they'd cut his role out of the film based on the scenes that this plot claims he's in. But then again who knows if he was actually cut from it.

I won't read the spoilers (didn't even watch the latest trailer), but no, Jack Kesy has NOT been cut. He's officially credited on the movie's Fox website (www.deadpool.com).

Thanks for this. Then whoever Jeff Sneider's source is doesn't know what they're talking about.

I knew it seemed odd to try and cut a character so late in the game but the strangest things happen with these blockbuster productions.

That's not the same thing. Jeff Sneider did not say that Jack Kesy was being replaced with another actor. He said his character all together was cut from the film. Kevin Spacey got cut and replaced with Christopher Plummer so technically his character was still in the film. They just reshot Spacey's scenes with Plummer instead.

Anyways I just found out the Sneider didn't even talk to someone who saw the movie. He made some poll and then someone commented telling him "I am not sure Jack Kesy is still in it." I wish these people with the blue check marks next to their names actually provided info that had some credibility to it and not an "I heard from someone who heard from someone else" BS that they do for all these films.

Didn't Manaytbe claim the movie was thirty minutes longer than the first?

Saw some people talking on Twitter and according to Fandango the run time is One hour and 51 minutes. Which is only 3 minutes longer than the first.

Lol that synopsis is just a collection of all the rumors we've heard so far.

May not be talking about that kid. she may be talking about having a child of their own and that allows her words to play on his mind later on.

Deadpool is suicidal after Vanessa’s death, but every time he tries to kill himself, he sees a Heaven vision of Vanessa in their apartment bathed in golden light, telling him it’s not time yet. She’s the one who tells him to protect Russell.

If they’re cutting Kesy the film is significantly changing, because...

Cable only makes a truce with Deadpool because he can’t take down Juggernaut himself.

That makes sense, considering how Rhett Reese tweeted how the Deadpool 2 script was about as long as the one for the first.

@ViewerAnon: I'm sure that Jack Kesy has not been cut from the movie per the official website from the studio. He's credited as part of the main cast.

And anyway, the rumors about the 'disappointing test screenings' have been shot down by both Collider and The Hollywood Reporter, with especially the latter being way more trustworthy than any blogger on the Internet.

Credits on a studio’s website this far out aren’t final. That said, if Kesy was playing *that character*, I don’t understand how the Deadpool/Cable dynamic works without him. But Sneider’s generally reliable, and the Hollywood Reporter article was a puff piece (which, amongst other things, under-reported how many test screenings there have been). So we’ll see.

The Hollywood Reporter article being a puff piece is your opinion, man. The credits have been added lately, and the website has been updated with the recent trailer launch. Without mentioning that the guys @Fox are quick at updating the info on their site whenever there's a change. So I doubt his name would still be on there amongst the main cast if he had been cut from the movie.

You don't heavily reshoot a movie that scores in the 90s. That's just basic Hollywood sense - you're throwing out a movie that you know works for audiences and spending huge amounts of money (I can't stress enough how expensive late reshoots are) on one that might not.

Either the test scores weren't that high, or reshoots didn't take place as reported.

And a bunch of reputable people are saying the reshoots happened and major changes are in place.

To bring this around, if weeks of reshoots were happening less than a month ago - and based on the he said/she said that's been going around, I believe they did - then THR's piece is absolutely a studio fluff job intended to curb negative press.

Dammit Rhett, what are we supposed to speculate on now?!

It is weird that Kesy hasn't been featured in any of the marketing at all. I'm guessing that's because the central conflict for most of the film is Cable vs. Deadpool, but if Kesy is in fact playing Juggernaut, you'd think they'd want to feature him since that character is pretty popular.

Lets say Juggernault is in the film (and i do think he 100% is), i do wonder why they haven't shown him in trailers.

Perhaps its because its been said that the character is all CGI and they ain't finished with it?

Maybe they wanna keep him a surprise?

Or the 3rd option maybe due to certain decisions about the look they chose for him they decided to avoid the typical fan backlash? personally i doubt they would care all that much about that though.

I thought Kesy was playing Black Tom Cassidy?

Anyway, yeah I think they're keeping Juggernaut close to the vest. I think they could create even more hype if they gave us a glimpse though. Maybe in TV Spots?

They didn't heavily reshoot the movie so anything you've stated after that statememt is irrelevant.

But if you want to play this game, all the evidence I need is that Fox moved both New Mutants and Dark Phoenix because they needed work done. They also moved Predator. Deadpool 2 is their golden egg at the moment. If that film was as bad as you claim and needed significant reshoots, they would have moved the release date to August or some other month. They wouldn't rush it out and release a mess of a film. Maybe in the past they would have but based on how they handled the other two comic book films, I have no reason to think they'd handle Deadpool 2 differently.

Finally, THR isn't going to choose Deadpool 2 to be the hill to die on and no studio wants to raise the expectations for their film which by saying the film test screened a 98 is doing just that. So now the film needs to live up to that or else. Just look at what happened with GOTG2 and how folks judged it based on the 100 score it got.

Regardless I'm going to choose to trust a reputable outlet rather some people on Twitter with check marks next to their names who sometimes get it right and sometimes get it wrong.

If those spoilers are true

This is when Deadpool accompanies Colossus and NTW to get the Mutant kid.

I imagine some Deadpool acting like an X-Man jokes
