How about Bradley Cooper?

Guy Gardener and no one else.

Dane Cook, for me too. Althought there might be more candidates.

Hey, I hadn't thought of Lee. That'd be good. I'm still a supporter of Reynolds for Deadpool, though.

I don't care who plays dp as long at they get his character right. He needs to be canadian, have add, ocd and bipolar, and fight like a badass...i expect a bunch of small intense fights in inclosed spaces while crazy music that has nothing to do with anything plays in the background. He needs to be a hitman, and the film needs to contain Weezel, Big Al, Siryn or copycat and T-ray as the villain. Whoever plays him i'll still be happy.

Also, Deadpool doesn't have to be a big budget origin movie, I would rather they not explain his origin at all and rather have him narrate the story and introduce himself in the beginning and spend the whole movie in the suit. I would also like to make it a small budget smart action comedy with extremely smart and well rounded characters. As the movie continues we learn more about Wade's past through the villain of T-ray and his interactions with other characters such as Copycat.

Okay, now i always thought it was weird that Timothy Olyphant was cast as Agent 45 in hitman, and he's doing these action movies now, cause i always thought of him as this indy guy. Well anyway, i was watching Go, and i was thinking, this guy is forboding, badass, and hilarious at the same time. I dont know if he'll be good for an ultra serious role like Agent 45, but the dude would make an extremely badass deadpool, and he could be a deep actor to for it, and not just to lame comedy like dane cook. Timothy Olyphant could just deliver the crazy, the action parts, and the funny parts about deadpool quickly. The more i think about it, the more i like him for the part. Personally, when i realized this, i thought it was the best casting idea i'd come across since Christian Bale for Batman, but i might just be getting ego. Anyone else agree with me?

No, not dane cook. The only time i actually find him funny is when he does stand up, his movies make me sick and he's not a very talented actor. He doesnt have that range of emotions that Deadpool needs. That's why I want Olyphant...real bad. :o

I'm sticking to Adam Baldwin on this one. He has the voice, the size, he's played a similar character before (Jayne of Firefly and Serenit) just without the craziness (which I am positive he can pull to a T).

My complete cast for a Deadpool movie:
Timothy Olyphant - Deadpool
Bea Arthur - Blind Al
Mia Kirshner - Copycat
Jason Bateman - Weasel
Greg Kinear - Head of Weapon X
Christopher Eccleston - Taskmaster
Chris Tucker - Agent X

Adam Baldwin is easily the best choice yet. Reynolds and Cook lack the right voice, and they both honestly annoy the hell out of me.

Ryan Reynolds has a great voice. He can really sell some jokes just by lowering or hightening his tone which is great if you never get to see his face.

the problem with reynolds is he plays the same basic character in every film. He always comes off with good timing sure but it feels like he's just reading a script it doesn't feel spontanious, Watch his films and you'll see what i'm mean Van Wilder is the only role he has ever played. And Cook just has that "look I'm crazy and sporatic just like jim carrey" vibe sure he used to be funny but the last time he made me laugh was Waiting. sorry look elsewhere.

Doesn't feel spontaneous? He basically ad-libbed all his jokes in Trinity. He's a funny, charming fellow.

But he can also be dramatic. Look at his scene with Parker Posey in Trinity, when she threatens him about turning him back into a vampire. That is a pretty decent dramatic moment and if you look into his eyes he seems genuinely freaked out by the idea.

Also I think he was not at all terrible in The Ammityville Horror. The movie was terrible but he managed to become pretty creepy by the end of it.

He was really good in Smokin Aces....if you doubt his dramaic skills watch that

Ooh, another pick I hadn't considered that could really work. Only thing is I don't know how he'd work as a martial artist.

Stunt double. The guy's wearing a full head mask. No-one will notice. That's the great thing. You can get someone as big as him and not even LOOK like him and no-one will tell the difference. Besides, he's pretty good at hand to hand. Don't know about martial arts but he can do fight scenes pretty well.
