I don't see why not. he is still in good shape with the ability to get into better shape. He will be in makeup so the fact that he is a little older not is irrelevant.

Yeah, I suppose. But I would think they would go for a young energetic new blood rather than a trained proffessional who has gotten older.

...huh...Well the Rock is funny but I don't consider him Deadpool funny...Besides, Deadpool is not supposed to be TOO big a guy (like that bust indicates). He's like...UFC fighter big. Not "my neck is twice the size of my head" big. The Rock is like...T-Ray sized. Good thinking though.

I'd say Dane Cook for DP. Jason Lee being my second choice.

I hear ya and thanks for the nod.

A couple things to think about though:

1. Actors are only as funny as the script is.
and
2. Wolverine was never 6 feet tall in the comics but fans accepted Jackman so I am sure a bigger DP could be workable on film.

The cool thing about casting Deadpool is there are a ton of viable candidates.
