It would be HORRIBLE? lol I think Gerard butler could do it. just make him look a lil older than he is. or even have a slightly younger one. in cable and deadpool he didnt look that old.

If Cable's really 40ish, itll be hard to find someone who's reasonably in the age area and still able to act, while still looking good.

Then again, the person who played Annabeth in Percy Jackson was 20, and she looked like a teenager. Not to mention, creative licensing.

So far, only one character has been confirmed, and two are sure to be in the film.

Confirmed is, obviously, Deadpool. Person who's basically already in it is Weasel (you can't do a Deadpool film without Weasel.)

Bob: "I'm Bob agent of !!!....*ahem*"

Deadpool: "what's that bob?"

Bob: I cant say....cos there secret and if anyone finds out..

Deadpool: Weeeell judging by the uniform i would say..

Bob: NO!!

Deadpool: ok ok chill.....Ryhmes with Tigra....or sounds like....Hydro..LOOK man we all know the reeeeeeeeal reason you cant say there name is because of the copyrights!

On a second note...I would love it if every time Deadpool Broke the 4th wall to talk to the audience the camera swoop round behind him to show him talking to air and the other guys with him going " who are you talking to" only to have Deadpool turn around and go " THE AUDIENCE....DUH!!?"

I'm sure Reynolds' name should put bums in seats. And if in previews and trailers it shows that the film is comic book accurate then i'm sure most general comic book fans will wanna check it out.

But i still maintain that this film should not be made or marketed as a big budget tent pole. It should be a cult hit like Blade or something.

To hell with subtle if he does it he should do it holding nothing back, as long as you get the character reactions from people around him being like " what the hell is this guy on?" so it brings it back into focus its fine.

Imagine a guy walking down the street shouting like he's in a movie? we would be like wth is this guy smokin'? Only in Deadpool's case....he's right only no one else knows that part from the audience...

Long as you show that Deadpool only thinks he's talking to people it will work.

Thats the way i view is comic character. whenever he talks to "us" he's talking to no one and he's just that crazy. but then again from the other view he is on the ball lol

you read deadpool comics don't ya? his eye movements and facial movements are noticable behind the mask. it's a big part of his character.

i think they should do CGI for his eyes under the mask, not like batmans.

I think the movie should open with a real violent action scene. Deadpool's shooting, stabbing, and maligning everyone in sight. After a few minutes of pure carnage, we begin hearing things like, "Oh yeah, take that! MMM, get some! You suck! I'm the greatest!" The camera then pulls back to reveal that it was a video game the whole time that Deadpool's playing on the couch. A game in which Weasel created for Wade, just so he'd stop bugging him.

I honestly think it shouldn't open with Deadpool. Let it open with a secondary character. then when it gets to Deadpool do the scene from the comic where he's watching tv and the phone rings then when he answers it and the guy on the other end asks for Deadpool he leaves the phone puts the mask on then goes " this is Deadpool" thats perfect for him imo.

I can't even begin to describe it. Archer is a secret agent and hijinx ensue. I highly recommend heading over to Hulu and watching all the episodes they have on there. Soooo funny. I wouldn't really compare it to Deadpool though.

With all the talks about First Class, X4, and Wolverine 2...I really doubt Deadpool gets his own movie for a while now.
